Nine people were admitted to hospital in the early hours of the morning after taking drugs in Glasgow city centre.

The news report says they were all at different places & had taken different things etc but I think we all know what this most likely means. PMA pills. The club they're talking about is The Arches, it was covered in polis at kick out time last night apparently.

Its a real pity the polis don't release details of what the pills were .. Even in the spirit of harm reduction...
 
They rarely do, although they did when them inverness lads died, but that was months after that batch of pills had killed in Ayrshire.

Again the simple fact is this would not happen if they were regulated. I wonder how many of the 3000 folk at the Arches were on pills. Would be an interesting stat.

Actually when I think back to trying the red defqons early this year it was a similar experience. I suspect it's to do with the quality of the MDMA. Maybe I need to hunt out these green ghosts you had if they have a clean synth. On a similar note I really liked the green f1s from earlier this year. Not the strongest but a nice clean buzz...

I'm sure I've heard someone mention cherries recently. Can't remember who or where or why but it rings a bell. Obviously it's a pretty common stamp over the years but I'm pretty sure I can remember someone mentioning them recently. I've put a post up on my FB telling cunts to stay the fuck away from them (strangely when I posted the link to the BBC article on my Facebook a picture of those pink cherries comes up as the thumbnail but it's not on the actual BBC site???). Fairly positive now that it will have been them.

Those cherries are clearly dodgy, yet there's positive reports on PR? Can you do something about that Bogman? If someone just has a quick glance at PR & doesn't read the comments they'll think those pills are fine (I know if one of my mates was to get offered them & decided to check PR they would most likely buy them). So easy to make a fake report if you're the cunt that's been landed with 10,000 of them.

I had a guy trying to sell me "pink panthers" outside The Barras a month or so ago. Knocked them back immediately because I hadn't heard of them. The guy was quite eager to get me to jump on PR with my phone & check them out but I still turned him down.

I'm para with pills these days & rightly so. I only buy stamps that I know are good from people that I know are sound. Recently I have bought pills from a random in Subby & at an after-party but they were the exact same pills - yellow rockstars - that we'd bought from my mate earlier so I knew they were fine.

Edit - There's the picture. Fuck knows why but I had to actually look through the source code of the page to find that.

MDMA HIGH - Took 2 hours to come up then I was out my nut for 8, the comedown lasted for 6 days & one of my balls fell off, these pills are brilliant

You always need to read the comments to get a better idea but I'd be surprised if most people do.
 
thats what i always tell folk = 1 report v 15 comments. if the report says this pill has 200mg and you will get the best blow job ever but 15 comments say you will be awake for 48hrs and wish you were dead then go with the 15.
 
Someone I know has already commented on my Facebook post about those cherries.

Too late we took them cunts were being sick & shit, think there called pink pachas, a month back... Really bad there was loads kicking about *here* too..

Had a blinding night last night down in London and the skulls delivered, ended up breaking half into two bits and took the bigger bit which turned out to be a nice dose for me - too much and I retch - synth could be good, got rushes and euphoria but this could be set and setting

I would agree the dose is too high to take in a club, really happy Glasgow have been flooded with them though. The pink cherries are deffo not PMMA took them a good few times in high doses there not mdma but something trippy (not in a bad way though) apperently its the white cherries that are really dodgy.

Tried a party flock last night. Did it it 2 halves. Soon as i necked second half, it came on really heavy and mongy. Too fucked up to dance. Big heavy rushes :) awesome pill, cant wait to consume again.
 
Pressure posted a thing on their Facebook page asking for info on whatever drugs/pills folk were taking at the weekend that hospitalised people in Glasgow so they can share the information. Good on them for trying to do what they can to keep people safe instead of just giving it "DRUGS ARE BAD DONT TAKE THEM IN OUR CLUB".
 
That's really good to hear. Hopefully, we'll end up like Amsterdam, with testing in clubs. Maybe not in our lifetime, though.
 
Na, this is the promoters of a particular night, not the club itself. They've just taken it upon themselves to post on Facebook asking for any info that they can share, so that what happened at a different night in the same club last weekend doesn't happen at their night (or any other night, just realised that that sounded as though they were being self-serving, which I highly doubt they are).

It in no way indicates any sort of change in club/government/police policy with regards to testing in clubs. It's just the person in charge of their Facebook making a post asking if anyone knows the score on what to avoid.
 
It's a start. I put warnings up on Facebook. If one person doesn't munch something potentially deadly, then I've done my best.

I'm interested in the latest stats on E use - every club night is full of people chewing their eyebrows. It's back how it used to be.
