Gibberings CIX: Faulty 'y' key? Or just high?

I'm half way through watching Total Recall 2012 and it's fucking terrible. PKD would be rolling in his grave.
 
I dunno - I think you can just install from the Play store / app store from your computer.. reckon the phone would need to be on to actually install, but it should install the next time it's turned on?

I'm not really a tech guy, so you'd be better with advice from someone who actually knows what they're on about...

Seems there's a way to wipe remotely for them.. IF you enabled Find My Phone

Log into your iCloud account. Do this as soon as you discover your phone is missing (and after you've done the pants check described above).

Click on Find My iPhone. The service will list all your Apple devices. If you have enabled Find My iPhone on your phone—you did, right?—and your phone is powered on, it will show you the location of your phone.

Click on the blue Info icon in the black locator bar, and you'll be given the option to play a sound or send a message, lock your phone down, or wipe out all data on it.

^Amen to that, I've been off work all week as well so its like a super Monday feeling. Currently trying to get back in the mind set of getting up and on that train with the familiar 'I want to murder you all' look all us commuters give each other.

If you have any correspondence saved on your phone (emails etc.) then surely deleting them at the source via your computer will mean the rozzers can't access them when you do turn your phone on?

Though like Mailmonkey points out, the envelopes are a clear indication of intent to supply.

I'm wondering, will i get my phone and stuff back? if i get a custodial sentence will that mean i wont get my stuff back?
 
^Don't they have to return all your possessions? I think you should be getting everything back, except the scales as they're probably going to use them as evidence in court.
 
you'll get your stuff back, unless they deem it to be proceeds from criminal gain ;)

your getting ahead of yourself .

To get a custodial sentence you will have to go to court magistrate 1st then if it's serious Crown . This can take months even years .

If your phone & computer are evidence then they will be taken i would imagine . But they would get returned when the case is over .
