What was your good deed for the day????

Nothing, absolutely nothing, guess I that gives me something to do besides avoid eye contact with the dog who lives to chase frisbies, anything he can catch... I did 2 nice things yesterday , I held open a automatic door for older lady trying to go thru out the entrance at lowes, both doors, now I wonder why she didn't just use the real exit...oh and didn't fight with a employee when she got pissed that I told her I wouldn't work her because her negative attitude sucks, she told me karma was a bitch then I got a call from her daughter to tell me she broke her leg...I offered to lend her a cane & didn't hit her up for her pain killers, wow I guess that should hold me over a few days.-) and I did all this with PMS! Brahaaaaawaaaaaa , keep up being kind all you sweethearts!

Getting on the bus and showing my pass to the driver, all v e r y v e r y s l o w l y i n d e e d, so as to give another woman -- whom I had seen running towards the stop -- a bit of extra time to get on behind me.

That wasn't today; it was before I knew this thread existed, though. Well, that's my excuse.

bought sweets and gave them to children at my doorstep wearing a mask.

Made my flatmate and myself 2 bowls each of Butterscotch Angel Delight.
Feckin beautiful.
Mmmmmmmmm ..... Lovely stuff. I know what I'm picking up from Asda tomorrow. Means no chips till December, of course, but WTH? You regret doing stuff till you next do something stupid, but you regret not doing stuff forever.

P.S. Bonus points for correct grammar! (The rule for _ and me / _ and I / _ and myself is to use the same word as if you were on your own, but it's amazing how many people get it wrong. We need more praise when people get things right.)

Wasn't today and wasn't my good deed but thought I'd share it anyway.

I was at the casino last night, running to the toilet so I didn't miss too many hands of poker and £25 fell out of my pocket, very luckily someone noticed it fall out, picked it up, followed me into the toilet and gave it back to me. Very generous, especially in a casino!!

Good job no one else came into the toilets Mugz as it could have looked decidedly dodgy one man handing another guy cash in the gents. ;-)

Bonus good deed for you BecomingJulie for making me feel good that I used grammar in the correct manner.

How many of you lot still live with your parents?.......

I moved out at 16 & have never gone back, you lot need to move out from your mom's yard imo. You got to be in your 20's and I find it weird you don't want to be away from your parents grip.

I moved out when I was 19, I'm 28 now, I onky ever moved back for no more than a couple of months after I lost jobs

I moved out of my parents home when I was 18 and sentenced to over 3 years in jail.
Would have preferred to move into a place of my own but just wasn't given that choice, worse luck.
Still it certainly taught me how to look after myself.

My good deed for the day was accompanying a friend to our local Drug Service Provider.
He had finally decided that he has had enough of wasting cash on heroin.
He wants a methadone script which I know isn't for everyone but that is what he thinks will be ideal for him.
I'm proud of him as this is the first time he has sought help since his habit started about 8 years ago.
