This is simply what it sounds like. I've been using Seroquel for sleep as a very good alternative to addictive recreational drugs like benzos and Lyrica or Neurontin for a long time. Especially taken every other day just knocks you out not to mention even counteracts stimulants). But now I want to quit for issues like difficulties in obtaining it and known serious side-effects (like weight-gain).
I'm just having promlems thinking of an alternative, or a sleep aid that actually works (unlike dolyxamine, benadryl, Valerian, Merlatonin, and all that stuff) AND isn't one of the addictive/recreational ones. 5-htp doesn't work for me either. I've heard of Tryptapine but not sure how easy it's to get.
Suspect a combination of different mild sleep-inducing drugs, like Niacin or St. John's Wort combined with some of the above is what I'll end up with. But what I'd really like to know is if there is any sleep inducing drug comparable to Seroquel, i.e. not over-the-counter, but legally available, and REALLY works without being recreational?
