Hello since i wanna try kratom so bad, i need some advice of which one it's the best suited for me, i've looked and there are like many strains or something? like green vein, red vein, etc...i wanna know whats the diference between each and which one would be the most relaxing one. I don't plan to get addicted to it, just experiment his effects and to know what is somehow and "opiate" feeling, because i don't plan trying any real opiate.

Nobody plans to get addicted, but kratom is as strong an opioid as the rest of them. Don't be fooled by that it doesn't belong to the class of opioids because of it's structure, but the alkaloids of kratom are powerful mu-receptor agonists. And it is very addicting. Not answering your question here but just wanted to make you understand this before you start using kratom.

Ok let me state i don't have the income to become a straight buyer because i just couldn't, i honestly just want something to relax i really don't plan becoming addicted i know no one does, but i just want someone to tell me the diferences between the diferent types of kratom thats all. I don't have an addictive personality i have too many things to do and this will be like an escape after all the work to relax. That's it.

Hi, there is a huge thread all about kratom here: The Kratom Megathread

That should answer all your questions and if there's anything you can't find just make a post at the end of that thread.

But it's true what cook said, plans are meaningless when it comes to addiction, as are financial concerns. cook was probably just worried because a lot of people think that it's not easy to get addicted to kratom. You really have no idea if you will get addicted. Just be very careful to not use it too often as you can get physically dependent if you use it too often, even if you think you are not mentally addicted.

I have a good amount of experience with Kratom. When made into a tea, the effects are very much like oral hydrocodone, and stronger than codeine or poppy tea. It is certainly an opiate high. The best type to purchase is plain old regular Bali Leaf, hands down. None of the other types either work or are reliable, it's pretty weird. But Bali Leaf bought in bulk (or in your case since you don't want to become dependent, probably NOT in bulk) then made into a tea. It's easier to judge the tea based on color. You want a green color tea, and just drink it slowly so you begin to feel the effects before you are finished drinking it. Kratom will regulate itself so if your body begins to get too high, youll puke before you overdose. This is where kratom is superior to synthetics. (it's actually superior in many ways) But yeah. Bali Leaf, no question. Make tea, no question.

Stronger than PPT? I have to disagree with that one. I would say kratom is same class as tramadol, where poppy tea is way stronger with proper pods.

kratom tea actually sucks. If it were feasible to extract kratom with tea then vendors would have much better quality extracts than they do now. Toss n wash or capsules are the only way to go with kratom and even then it is no where near as strong as poppy tea. Kratom is practically insoluble in water. Most people making teas seem to use 20g when as little as 6 grams will work in capsules so obviously it is not an effective method of preparation.

IMO, kratom has little addictive potential, as well it has a very low risk of dependence, it will take you at least a month of 24 hour daily dosing to get a tiny dependence on it. Kratom is not like opiates, you will not have an addiction or dependence to it that can compare to any other opiate except for codeine.

I don't know about dependence, but addiction to kratom seems to happen just as easy as with real opioids. In my country it is already scheduled, and I think it will be soon in other countries too.

I've ordered and used probably about 3000 pods in my time as well as kilos of kratom in various types. I've tried everything, i've made ridiculously strong poppy pod tea (to the point where i was actually worried I would stop breathing) and it felt like a gooey morphine overdose... a strange high, i've made wicked strong kratom tea and it feels much more like hydrocodone than the high achieved from poppy tea. The kratom pills and extracts have seriously inconsistent reports, and from what i've tried they were never that good - althought i'm sure there have been batches that were unusually strong as well as weak ones. Consistency is a big issue when using opiates, so if you're boiling down ounces of kratom leaf into tea, youll almost always get the same product... also you can really control the potency and it really isn't that expensive at all when bought in bulk. You could theoretically make the tea anywhere from light yellow to black if you wanted.

I still assert that, If you buy bali leaf in bulk and make strong tea, there's no better legal option. And if you think it sucks you probably made it too weak or didn't use a small amount of citric acid so the alkaloids probably weren't even extracted.. You can't just use 100% water.

Kratom is an opioid drug, there's no way to deny that fact. the only reason there are little addicts, is that, especially with rising tolerance, you have to shove big amounts of leaf powder down your throat, and a lot of people find that too disgusting to continue the habit for a long period of time.

the opioid i'd compare it the most to might be tramadol. for me the beginning of the effects is really euphoric. without tolerance, kratom is every bit as good as the other opioides i've tried (DHC, Codeine, Tramadol). Okay, the DHC has a nicer effect profile, but as for intensity, kratom isn't weaker at all imo.

Ok i only have access to kratom extract powder, so how can i get that to work? are there any other ways besides capsules?

I think tramadol is complete trash (not even worth taking) but kratom is really great and effective. I think these more natural compounds effect different people quite differently, or so it seems.

Agreed. I think it is the stimulatory part that connects kratom with tramadol. Tramadol was my first "love" and I still like it after couple of years on opioids. Perhaps I would use kratom instead if it were legal here but it's not so I tend to prefer tramadol insted.

At least in Finland, probably in Sweden too but I ain't sure. Personally I've had fines for importing kratom, whee.
