Gibberings CVIII: I've appeared in some cheap Eastern European porn mag

I had over 500 12" mostly from 1987/1995 . They were nearly all "rave " you know Sub Bass , XL records. I also had aload of Warp stuff & R &S stuff including Joey Beltram & a few other classics . Most of them have gone know sadly i managed to hold on to about 50 of my favourites about 20 are white label as well .

On Cold Chillin i still have BDK 1st two albums , Marley ,Marl in control Vol 1 & GG Rap Live N let Die .
When the digital switchover happened i was to deep in my addiction & didn't really give a toss about myself let alone music .
I'm only catching up now . I didn't have my own computer until 2010!!

yeah BIz n Shante did & still do concerts all over as a double act . So i don't see why not .

But you are expected to have a significant amount of money yeah ? I don't have any real qualifications or much to offer but i do have family that would act as guarantor & character ref. & provide Accommodation.
When i stayed their as a 17 year old i had a job as a buss boy at a Golf Course restaurant lol!

I was on the MP3 'ting really early & started using a PC with some decent speakers as my main 'music-player' a long time ago so even CDs became obsolete quite early for me. Regrettably I was never into vinyl, never owned decks or that. My dad had a fuckload of really old vinyl (stuff like The Clash, Jam etc) but the daft cunt just gave it all away when he moved house. He's a bit like me in that way, just gives shit away to people because he's not using it then realises 10 years later that he should have kept it. Even when I was young though the vinyl was just stacked up somewhere, there was no working turntable in the house that I can remember.

I'd love a big record collection. We were in a friend-of-a-friend's pad after a club one night. He was spinning some standard chilled house music but he had a whole wall of vinyl, as soon as I got a swatch at it the dance tunes were off & Curtis Mayfield etc was on. One day I'll get myself that old vinyl collection. I don't want new stuff, I want old soul, funk records & shit, all the old shit that our favourite old hip-hop was ripped from.

Pretty cool having the old XL recording stuff on vinyl. Beltram as well %) Tell me you've got Energy Flash on vinyl & I'll be a wee bit jealous. Stone cold classic.

Re BDK - I've got the full discography on the D/L right now. Might not be as fun as vinyl but it sure is handy/free =D

Also got Leftisim on DJ VInyl . you know one side for each track

I might get on that BDK discography myself actually what torrent are you using ?

just been watching clips from "To catch a predator" on youtube. What a great show catching Paedo bastards in the act of grooming and watching their wee faces when they get totally busted and realise that their lives are fucking ruined.

They alwats say these folk are normal, regular pillars of society......not from what i ve been watch...they all seem a bit creepy.

Great idea isn't it? Make what essentially amounts to pornography out of the misery of abused children.

And do you think they bother to cover the overwhelming majority of child sex abuse cases that are perpetrated by members of the child's family or adults directly responsible for their care? No, because the 'weirdo paedo bogeyman' concept sells, evidently. Even though it's not a reflection of the truth by any means.

PS: Ignore if you were being ironic and actually agree with the above. Sensationalised media coverage of sexual abuse gets my goat, that's all.

It's the sensationalism of it - the way TV is actually exploiting the misery of real victims in order to attract viewers, while all the time pretending to be righteous.

It's bloodsport, but the kind we can feel okay about because it's 'just'.

totally get what your saying...something just not quite right, but yet id rather have that knowing that they have genuinely taken these cunts off the streets.

I have about another 45 other decent 12" from that era their at my Ma's for safe keeping . Andy Weatherall is fukin ace i've seen him with the Sabres Of Paradise a few times & on his own that will be a top night especially in asmall venue .

I saw Sven vath a few years back in a tiny little place next to the Central Station in Porto . It was meant to be only for students but this Italian guy who i was staying with had aspare as one of his mates couldn't make it . I was planning on going down the road n buying some hash n if i had would have missed him .
The place was crazy sweat dripping of everything .
