[MEGA] Vaporizers Thread

Does anyone have that list of the boiling points of all the different cannabinoids? It would be interesting to see the effect of vaporizing at various temperatures if you have say a Volcano digital vaporizer that allows you to accurately adjust the temperature with dial and LED readout. I've not really used a vaporizer properly before so don't have much experience myself. Has anyone here experimented with different temperatures? If so can you comment about the nature of the high at different temps?
 
If everything goes according to plan I will have a volcano this weekend. Im pretty psyched, wish I would have gotten one when I first started smoking.
 
What is Trippy Stick vaporizer?

I read an article online on Trippy Stick vaporizer which informed me about new portable vaporizer. Is it available in market? Is it healthier for use? How much it cost? What are the benefit of it?

I'd skip the middle man and just buy an eGo-w (it's a cigar style ecigarette)

It looks like they are just trying to market the plain old Ego-w as some kind of new portable vaporizer. Portable nicotine vaporizers have been around for a while. They're called e-cigs.

They claim it's healthier for nicotine smokers since it doesn't contain any tar. Not really sure if you're using your own hash oil.
Cost of an ego-w is approx. $50
Benefits = It's a portable vaporizer.

yeah i do believe the portible vaporizers work much like an ecig. I believe you can just load them with hash oil. Though they are not meant for hash oil, i have hear of some vaporizers in Cali for hash oil.

Im sure the cost is gonna vary from store to store.

Its as healthy as vaping, and you get to vap on the go in theory. Though im sure it will still smell like cannabis.

Im gonna merge this with the vaporizor mega thread.

I just got a G Pen vaporizer. Ridiculously bad ass! It looks just like an e-cig, except you use either wax or hash oil. I haven't seen any other portable vaporizers that come close.
 
I prefer more of a body high, will I get that with a vaporizer or would I be better to just continue with a pipe or spend the money on a nice bong. Also I really like the ease of tinctures and candies, which seem to give me the body hits I like. anyone with suggestions on recipes send me a message, and yes I will check the other threads also

I don't think that vaporizers necessarily cause more of a body high. With my vape I can get cerebral effects so strong (if I vape enough, when I don't have a tolerance) that it's sometimes a little uncomfortable. However, most of the time it's a lot of fun, and it sometimes results in uncontrollable laughter - but that's not really a body high. I think what matters more is what strains you're using. I'd go with something that's close to 100% indica if you want more of a body high, or take some edibles (as you mentioned), or use hashish (especially hash made from an indica strain). different cannaboids(HTC,CBD,CBN,etc) are released at various temperatures. If you can adjust the temp of the vape you can extract the cannaboid that gives you the high you want.
 
I must admit i do enjoy vaping at around 160 C sometimes.
Very head high, very tasty if you've recently cleaned the vape and also its euphoric too.

If you dont want to vape higher temps, your not wasting any weed because you can always cook with it, and weed that is vaped at lower temps will make some nice edibles :)

I have the arizer V tower myself.
 
I just got my vapor-one unit in the mail yesterday http://www.amazon.com/Vapir-ONE-5-0-Vaporizer-Inflation/dp/B000QUXPAG. My question is it has a plastic looking hose that connects the vaporizer to the inflatable bag. That tubing is getting extremely hot and I am concerned that plastic fumes are being released. I would hope the manufacturer would have considered this during the design but I want some reassurance. The plastic tube is not melting but it does get really soft and is somewhat disfigured after a few uses. Thoughts?
 
Scanned through this thread, figured I'd drop in and get some advice.

Plain and simple, it's time for me to finally get a vaporizer. Winter's coming, my seasonal job is almost over so I'll need to invest in a means of conserving my cannabis. Not to mention, I've wanted a vaporizer for the past 4 years since I started smoking.

After researching and reading plenty of reviews, as well as various opinions and video reviews of various vapes, I've decided to go with either Da Buddha or Silver Surfer, both made from the same company. The reason I have chosen these two in particular is because I am on a budget. Ideally I'd want to get the Digital Volcano, however I can only spend around $200 on this product.

I understand both vapes are made from the same company. The difference between the two mainly being Da Buddha is manufactured overseas, shipped into the States then inspected for quality before being sold while the Silver Surfer is hand-made from start to finish in the States. Aside from a few aesthetically pleasing features Da Buddha does not have, what is the biggest advantage of going with the Silver Surfer?

As of right now I'm leaning towards Da Buddha, only because from what I've read and been told it works just as good as the Silver Surfer for a cheaper price. I'm looking for functionality, if it does the exact same thing for $50 cheaper, I'm going with the cheaper option, plain and simple.
 
I just got a Volcano Classic today, I think I didnt let the stuff heat up long enough because the bag didnt really fill with anything visible. I had it at a little over 6 so im not sure what happened.
 
Oh god, the new Pax vaporizer that's come out seems so awesome. Has anyone here used one yet? It looks like something Apple would make, it's so slick looking. I just wish they sold them in the UK!!!

Either I will find a way to buy one by having it shipped over or I'll go for either the Silver Surfer, the Arizer Solo or the Vapir no. 2. Decisions decisions. The Pax seems to be the most portable quality vaporizer I've seen though so I am tempted.

I really would love to get a Volcano but even though it's such a good product I just can't justify spending that much money on a vaporizer.
