lol lol thats mental. I felt sorry for the cars driver at the start but until the police turned up they were having so much fun. I watched till abut 4 mins and then flicked through the rest but the change in mood & atmosphere was really noticeable. Just exuberance and fun at the start. Love the wee guy in the white jeans skipping about, and when the police turn up and accost him he just dances off =D
 
The two silly coppers that try to get stuck in at the start are my favourite. They get chased back down the street but not by an angry mob, just by cunts singing & dancing =D

I love the fact that it was on Thursday. Not even the weekend haha.

My mate lived in one of the flats directly across from where they're filming from until a couple months ago. It was always some laugh hurling abuse/things out the window at the sqads of people getting a post-club munchie.
 
Don't get me wrong, it's not every weekend or anything, just occasionally that places get late licenses. Walked out of The Arches into broad daylight one time in the summer at 5am, that was brutal (this was before the smoking ban, so I hadn't been outside at all since entering).

Subby, Arches etc, most places really, even the shitty commercial pop clubs, all normally close at 3am. I think in the west end there's a 2am curfew but city centre n that it's 3am.
 
Closing at 2/3am is far too early, we need 24hr drinking in Scotland. In places like Sao Paulo, Buenos Aires and Bangkok clubs will stay open well into the next day, up to 10am-mid day. In BA they don't open until 2/3am! Seen me staggering out a club at mid day then heading off to a near bye bar to continue the party, here you have little options when a club closes. If there's no parties on and none of your mates have any booze in it's time to go best. Even bigger problem here is that there's no clubs worth going to, all the clubs in this city are shite, cheesey, places full of wankers.

24hr cities are the way forward.

24 hour cities are definitely the way forward. You do realise that you don't need to go on mad adventures to do that though Spade? The rest of the UK is like that. It's just Scotland. In London I was jumping into a newsagents outside Fabric & buying cans of cider, to happily drink on the street, while waiting on my mates getting their shit together at 5am.

On the way to a party after Bloc it was no hassle for folk to go & get a cargo. Here you'd either need to have planned ahead or turn up empty handed & hope to fuck that there's a load of spare booze on the go.

It's a shite state of affairs to be in & all the fresh air in the world won't make a blind bit of fucking difference... (or something like that).
