BL, help me figure out if this guy is into me

So a bunch of people from the residence hall where I'm living went out to get a drink a couple nights ago. This one guy, really cute, initiates conversation with me by complimenting my taste in beer. Eventually we start talking about music because he plays drums and I play guitar & sing, he mentions something about how we should go play together in the tube (jokingly obviously). Then he asks me what my favorite band is, I say Led Zeppelin, he goes quiet for a few seconds and then says something along the lines of 'I think I'm in love with you' and gives me a hug. I mention a movie of their last concert is coming out in october and ask if he wants to come with me, to which he answers "It's a date". Then we continued talking for about an hour, and he asks me if I like playing fifa (bit random), because he has a playstation in his room and I should come over. So I'm normally going over to his room tomorrow.
I really like this guy and it seems to me like he was being a bit more than friendly but I seriously can't figure it out. Overall we were talking for about two hours or something and we clearly had a lot of stuff in common.
What do you think? I'm afraid to get my hopes up.
 
Sounds like hes tryin to hit.

If you dont know him really well maybe bring a friend with you

you dont have to initiate anything just act like youre there to play FIFA.

since he's in a band Im guessing just say something along the lines of "wow a drummer you must have a lot of girls throwing themselves at you" and see where that goes
 
Sounds like he's interested, obviously he just wants to get to know you more.
Just take it slow, get to know each other before you go off being like little rabbits.

fuckin detective master! london? i'm going back there to finish my degree in a couple weeks, but i've had a couple years off, may crash and burn.

in that case, be aware that things may not be as sincere as they seem, not specifically about this case, in general, bunch of people who don't know each other wanting to make friends and fuck a lot.

Haha, nice job. Yeah I'm in London, this place is awesome I really love it. I'd been told lots of people just want to have sex and nothing else at the beginning, so I'm prepared for that regarding this guy (not sure I'd be against it though, haha). Mostly I just wanted to know if there was a chance he wanted to sleep with me or be in some sort of non-friendly relationship with me based on what he said, not necessarily be my *boyfriend* or something.
 
i have another suggestion. stop worrying about what he thinks of you and stop second-guessing. decide how you feel about him and act on that. only that.

imagine if he feels the same way. you both have the chance to explore a potentially exciting relationship and you'll both miss out because nobody wants to make a move...

Well I was thinking of just seeing how it goes tomorrow, and if it goes well I'll make a move. I mean I'm going to be in a bedroom alone with him so I feel it's likely something will happen on its own :)
 
Hey Pagey, look I do not want to make it sound like guys are horny pricks, BUT usually when I invite a chick somewhere that is my personal space straight after meeting them, and they agree, it usually means..ummm..yeah he is going to come on to you 100%. Not 90%, expect it 100PERCENT. I thought all girls knew this code?

It is only when he gets a number and takes you OUT a week or so later, that he won't be expecting it, at least in all my experiences, and most others for that matter.
