Hello Cornishman!

My sabbatical failed! Sabbatical Mk. II is in the works though (tomorrow).

Failing that my sister's friend said he'd take me to one of his NA meetings and try that way.
 
I wouldn't mind going just to know the score. But if I attend I don't think there's an option to be an impartial observer, no matter how little I participate.
 
For stimulants? If so it never works unless you decide you've done it to the teeth and the fun is gone.
 
Well the offer was just that: an offer. I expect it'd focus more on the psychology of habitual drug use than the actual drugs themselves.
 
How often do you do drugs Albion? I don't think you're anywhere near full blown junkie material yet are you?
 
The middle class eh MM? Do drugs twice in a month and they're crying out for rehab.
 
If you go, and realise it's unnecessary, you'll only have wasted a few hours.
If you go and find some part of it useful it'll be time well spent.

There's nothing stopping you leaving halfway through if it's not your cup of tea either.
 
If you do go make sure you take your Lego Police Space Interceptor Rocket Craft so you can show that you use your time constructively while on stims. They'll let you get it out for the show and tell bit.

Anyone can go to an N.A meeting , how much you participate is up to you but expect people to interact with you & also remember what is said in the rooms stays their . Give it a go it certainly isn't going to harm you . I can be quite sure that if you reveal that you moderate a H/R Drug Forum it will be suggested that if you want to achieve sobriety that you stop !!

Yea exactly man - Regardless of if you get no help or do, you'll be able to see if it has potential and there may be some positive things you can take away from it :)
And - most importantly - You'll get free bizzquits and cuppas! :D

Had a lovely weekend with the ladyfriend, bestyfriend and a mate I've not seen in about 4 years who's just come back from Spain :)
Drank farrrrrr too much over those few days though 8(
Having a quiet night with some films and some gear. I might even go absolutely mental and try get this fucking fuckery mix done as I've been getting blag-mail about it :|

Do you need to be? I've reached a stage where I use different drugs daily, weekly, monthly, depending on how much I can afford and what I can get. Occasionally I take drugs with others.

I recognise that as a problem, since I can't seem to keep sober for more than 2 weeks. I get this hunger for intoxication that gnaws away at me. Just staying off all drugs for a decent length of time ought to sort it out, but I've never actually managed to achieve this in the first place.

It impedes on day to day life way more than it should do now, and going in to 2nd year of university with this holding me back just seems like a bridge too far.

You've been doing more drugs over the long summer . you're bored at home. You're trying to fill the void.

When you back to Uni, you'll have your course to think about, things going on, you won't have time to make fucking lego for 4 days on peevee.

You don't need to be 'full blown junkie material' in order to have an issue with your drug taking, you ignorant retard.
