hah, I know em brimz, a mate of mine loves em, but Levelling the Land just irritated the fuck out of me back then ... it was just way too bloody cheerful for me at the time ..

brings back tons of ace memories tho .. ... nursing half a pint glass of orange juice for the whole afternoon outside my fave pub (a barge) ... topping it up with a personal stash of vodka .. micro dots ...

was a good time for music too

No Friday thread?

Hitting a good outdoor rave tonight seems to be plenty going and looks set to be a good night. Then Sunflower Festival is next week, can't wait! Have a good weekend all.

That Muse track is a load of shite. Reminds me of Korn who I'm pretty sure said in earlier years they would split if anyone dropped out, which happened and now we are left with a load of dubstep shite. Is everyone seriously looking to take the easy route for cash these days rather than try and produce music? Eugh

I think it's just probably busy dragging all the flying ants it's been hording, to the nest where its brothers and sisters are hanging out

It'll probably be back when you look tomorrow. I fucking hate it when they go missing though. It induces me into panic mode, because they could be plotting anything .. like planning a trek across the ceiling over your bed .. smug bastards

These flying ants must stop at the border as I've seen flying ants before abroad and know what they look like but I've definitely never seen one in Scotland.

Does anyone else use those toastie bags that you stick your sandwich in then chuck in the toaster? Have been using for years and have managed to never burn myself using them yet just made one there, took it out the toaster and went and made a drink. Picked it up by the handles and my finger just scuffed the bag and I've managed to seriously scald my self, as in the worst burn I've ever had. Ran my finger under the cold water tap for 5 minutes and have been sitting with it in a bag of frozen veg for 20mins now, the second I take it out it's pure agony. I can't understand why I've gotten such a bad burn when I use these things all the time and never get burnt from them. It's painful as fuck.

Have ever made a drink at the same time before?
 
I'd say that every time I make a toastie I make a drink too. Never been burnt from one before let alone burnt like this, it's a proper burn.
 
The kettle wasn't used, I drank water, and it wasn't the toaster that burnt me it was the actual toastie bag even though it had been out the toaster for about 1 minute.
