moles are fucking beautiful creatures. tho hardly ever seen. if they were seen more i think people would hate them less because theyre fucking gorgeous. all people get to see is the bloody hills
 
Agree Marmz, they have amazing feet / claws and a cool nocturnal, dark lifestyle - its such a shame they get bad press.

Where I live we have many (too many) links golf courses and it makes me smile when I see mole hills on their ever so groomed putting greens =D....like i'm still rebelling against my dad's values lol

Don't listen to any naysayers telling you to set your cat on it.

Get a see-through tupperware box and try to place it on top of the Vole. Slide a magazine or piece of cardboard underneath underneath it and take it outside that way. If there's any chance you might drop it, try to find a bucket deep enough so it wont be able to jump out, and pop it from the tupperware box into the bucket and take it out that way. Put it near a field, preferably with a ditch or pond nearby

Vole fucking pwn. water voles are beautiful. I watch them in various rivers near here, and they swim like theyre on a mission, and with tons more grace than rats.

pls don't kill it or set a cat on it.

Don't worry I''ll ensure that he/she is kept safe and sound.

Used to catch em alot as a child.
We have a clear plastic box thingy that my dad suggested we use to catch it - I just don't want it running off & hiding out in another room. We got alot of clutter here I'm sure it would love.

There's a small stream just down the road. I might take it down there for something to do.

Afternoon MOP <3 You do get some daft mums though....and don't forget some kids are brought up in single parent households (like mine) so you cover the daft dad and strict mum role all in one :D

How's your brood getting on?


It's now steaming outside as the rain and thunder have subsided...its looking right tropical out there. Alas I have to remember this is Scotland and not get carried away 8(

I know Kate I wasn't generalising I see nutty mums all the time :)

They're all mad as a box of frogs bless em. I've been off all week with them we've had a blast.

Think you may be right - is cheesecake a man thing? They are both the man's favourites and I'd like to please him, because he's an amazing hubby <3 and make him something nice for a treat. If it was for me and I'd toked lots of lovely hash I'd be making chocolate cake or pavlova...I'm not big on the man's favourites. Very slimming for me! ;)

I bought blueberries, raspberries and strawberries too - thanks knockando, its a no brainer aint it. Berry cheesecake it is %)



2C-B in the droog box keeps winking at me...I'm not sure what to do about that?
 
Well, I was going to be all antisocial which seemed wrong given the beautiful weather, so quite nice to get invited into Edinburgh to see a show or two! See ya later EADD. <3

I baked an apple tart on acid once - was quite surprised by the results, it had a beautiful pastry pattern on top, tasted great 8) Enjoyed the nurture headspace too. However once on acid I ended up playing like some retard cavewoman in my baking cupboard with all the flour and oil out on the floor making pretty pictures and dough people. What a fucking nightmare to clean up the next day :|

Mmmmmm cheesecake <3 berry sounds delish! I'm not really a choccy cake girl Kate, not sure why, never got into it but pavlova is one of my favourite things ever. Meringue <3

Has anyone here made a key lime pie? Tis an American thing I think (where's NT wen you need him) and I only have a vague idea of what it is but it's always sounded appealing for some reason. Kinda like lemon meringue?

Evenin' EADD :) lazy day for me, chilling with a few peeps and off to a birthday party soon. All very civilised, sprinkling of bupe and cocktails later but otherwise all very sober! Nice to be socialising again, been somewhat of a recluse lately.. time for things to move onwards and upwards though I think (I hope :))
