new to opiates

Well my opiates aren't my thing cause I just took 30mg of hydrocodone straight about an hour and a half ago and they've done nothing for me.

i was never a fan of hydrocodones, to mild for me even eating 3 10s at once just not my bag, every ones different though. had to try some oxys before i experienced something interesting about opiates.

you'll get 2mg alprazolam eventually, but be careful with those and even the 1mg's. your tolerance will be crazy after those if your not careful ime, same with addiction of course. i also have read xanax is only really useful for you for 3-4 weeks if that and after that your just going to be screwing yourself. i would only eat them if you absolutely have to imo there just as addictive as heroin if not worse ime. w/d's are just as bad iv read also. i have never used them long enough to get straight on gnarly w/d's, just experienced the mental depression crap and a lot of fatigue, and also the routine is hard to break at times ime.

also i wouldn't mix benzo's and opiates at all, people are kicking the bucket left and right like that nowadays ime. im very fortunate to have made it through my first heroin experience on 4mgs of xanax. was probably the most "down" i have ever been in my life nothing going on upstairs for the night. remember waking up from nodding out so hard and not even remembering that i was on drugs.

Opiates can be extremely personal, meaning that some opiates are effective for some, and not effective for others. I too have found that hydrocodone doesn't have really any effect on me, and oxy's tend to have a little more, but I would never use them for a high as they barely do much for my pain, but again this is very individual. I have heard alot of people who say they love hydro's over oxy's and vise versa.

As for benzo's 2c-goinsane is spot on. Benzo's should never be used for a long period of time as addiction is extremely high with these and the longer you take them, the less effective they become and you always find that you have to 1 up them. If you have taken them for a long time, withdraw is a very real, very dangerous ordeal. For the most part the only safe way to come off of them is through a very controlled taper. The withdraw from benzo's are very much the same as alcohol withdraw, which is why when withdrawing from alcohol, you will be prescribed a benzo taper. Another serious effect of benzo withdraw is severe depression / anxiety. The scary side to this is that sometimes well after the withdraw has seemed to be over, all symptoms gone, and you are off the drug, I have heard many people (including someone who I was in a rehab program with) tend to get really severe panic / anxiety attacks well after all activity with the drug is out of their systems. The person I was in rehab with had been off Xanax for almost 2 months and had a panic attach completely out of the blue so bad she was hospitalized for it. This is something you really want to avoid at all costs.
I know you only planning the xanax to help you out and not take it for an extended period, however, since it was bought out, I felt it pertinent to bring up these points.

Cheers!

I only take 1.5 mg at the most a day and ill stop when i run out. Before I drop opiates I want to experience at least one high from them.

Thx but ill try it on more time with some green and if that doesn't do it that's just one drug that has a bad reward/risk ratio.

I see this thread is a few months old now but did you ever find opiates to do anything for you? Bud and vikes do well with each other but I find it makes me tired witch isn't always a bad thing imo

god damit do i miss being able to get rocked off a few Vicodin :\

sadly those days are long gone tho. Its a shame because as far as euphoria goes hydro blows oxy out of the water for me.

Absolutely. Hydro buzz is pretty much ideal IMO. Not comparatively strong among opiates so there's no puking, looking blown out, or long nods and fade outs (does screw with my ability to focus vision at times) . That long wait for them to kick in, the moment ya swallowed them it started. It's on the way. Then it starts that buildup. The hollow feeling right over the diaphragm, you can hear it in your own voice. Then it's, most often, total peace and contentment. Relax, or do what you need to, but happier. Then, it wears off. And for me, held little power in dependance, mentally or physically. In insane amounts for weeks on end.
A lot of her family did. But I figured her out quick. The tolerance for one of those good hydrocodone highs is like a rocket. Four Norco 10s become nine throughout the next day soon become more than I care to say, at once, by then it is apparent. No amount will get that. Just a break.

Interested in this Zohydro pill. One Oxycontin being superior to equal mg. Amount of Percocets type of thing I guess. And no 100:1 APAP you don't even want, wrecking a vital organ.

As far as medicinal use, good as a muscle relaxer, cramps and muscle pain, for serious pain its by no means a miracle cure
