It's actually just the "putting down" - on or off alcohol.
I think everybody knows that alcohol is beneficial when moderately taken - except for those with specific health conditions for whom alcohol is a no-no no matter what. It's when people take it irresponsibly that things go wrong. Take it at the right time, on the right place, and with the right people (and make sure you have a right mind 'til your last sip; or if not, be sure you're in good hands right away after, not driving or the like).
