Haha and MSB has stopped pissing me off. What's happening with the world. XD
As for this, in the realms of music tech a degree, the experience and contacts are well worth it. Not just theoretical crap like many degrees seem to be, tonnes of hands on stuff and the range of practical knowledge is vast, not something that you can get anywhere as much of the "pro level" stuff is closely guarded in the industry.
Cannot wait :D
The contacts are the main thing I'd say. Anything technical you can pretty much teach yourself. You can't make the contacts on your own though. Anyone I know that are doing anything decent music industry related (other than strumming guitar in a band) are able to do it because of the contacts they made either while in semi-successful bands or while at college/uni. It seems like the easiest "way in", for want of a better expression.
