This past Saturday night, almost 5 days ago now, I took a dose of what was sold as "molly", so presumably, pure MDMA or whatever substitutions are sold as MDMA...who can really say. It was in a capsule. I wasn't able to inspect it due to darkness and time/setting constraints. But I'm digressing so...
Within 25 minutes of taking it, I was feeling it very intensely, to the point that I felt unable to maintain control over basic things, like dispensing an item into my purse. Just prior to this, my boyfriend had said we would begin to feel it around 30 minutes in. The passage of time was one of the major and immediate things to warp, seeing as by 25 minutes in, it was a shit show.
I hadn't eaten much that day, and started feeling sick pretty quickly, in addition to the general anxiety over my lack of control. I'm very thin, going without food doesn't go over well sober, so I really don't know what I was thinking with this entire thing. I couldn't bring myself to conquer food while on the drug, so drank an Ensure nutrition drink, at the suggestion of my companion...probably 15 minutes later, I projectile vomited while walking, despite my strong conviction that I could suppress it...ugh. My experience after vomiting improved, which was due to the cessation of the drugs effects, at least from what I could tell....I mean arguably, it was still in my system considering its strong effects pre-puking, but the intensity dissipated almost immediately after I threw up. Nothing notable afterwards. I had a "come down" later where I was emotional and cried but rather enjoyable and nothing major. All things considered, I felt pretty normal when I woke up the next day.
I continued feeling normal until 9 pm the following night, when I started feeling a sort of tingling sensation. I can't fully describe it. I've gotten a similar feeling from smoking weed, but not nearly as intense or uncomfortable as this. I feel the sensation sort of swimming through me, like it wants to jump out of my skin. I've had the skin jumping feeling from taking too much Nyquil.. But clearly this is so much worse now. It hurts. The feeling seemed noticeably enhanced by the cold temperature of where I was when it first started. After a few hours, it had gotten really uncomfortable, very lightly bumping my arm on something caused a strange pain.
Its intensified by my movement and something like sitting up sends a wave of the sensation throughout my body. It has a bit of a coldness about it. I don't fricking know. My boyfriend said its probably psychosomatic. I'm an active person and its fucking with my activities, which I really can't handle. Its also distracting on a constant basis. Even when I'm sitting, it seems to be detrimental to my performance in everything, and my hands are actually in quite a bit of pain from type (my blood feels stagnant and cold but also burning).
It basically hasn't stopped since Sunday night. Its gotten worse and more irritating, its sort of like pins and needles. Monday was the mildest, I was somewhat active on Monday, compared to what I've been capable of since then. In addition to this feeling, I haven't been able to sleep. I've fallen asleep mid studying but only briefly. I wake up well before my alarm in the morning and can't go back to sleep. Getting maybe 3-4 hours of disturbed sleep at most.
It's unbearable right now....I stayed home today to sleep it off, slept 2-3 hours in the afternoon but it didn't help. I just want it to go away.
I've done some research and from what I've read, it seems most similar to:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paresthesia
and
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Serotonin_syndrome
which is scary as hell.
Noteworthy maybe: I'm prescribed Adderall XR which I took in close proximity to the time I took the drug, and take daily.
I'm sick of typing, the second link I posted above really freaked me out, and basically I can't handle this continuing any longer.
Anyone know what I should do to solve this or how worried I should be or anything at all....please.
