What are you munching on? v. gimmie toblerone n' beetroot

Dan, you really should not have let someone else eat that before you :sus:

LOL! :D

I finally had that kebab tonight. First one in about 3 years I reckon and the last for another 3. It wasn't too bad, tasted OK and was fairly fresh (could see the kebab had just been put up and not sitting there being cooked over and over for days) but after eating half I started to feel sick. After the sickness died down I ate a family sized bag of cider vinegar and sea salt crisps. On the back of the packet it recommended it's 'alternative 5 a day' which was a bag of crisps, a good pint, a bit of fried fish with chips and some other random stuff.

Diet going well then!

Had another amazing knockanpizza tonight. The thickness of the base was uniform, which has been part of the problem to date.

But the fucker will still not bubble up like in Pizza Express. My yeast is not performing! I've activated it but it refuses to produce.

Any ideas?

Bad base means a bad pizza regardless of the top. I haven't made a home made pizza for years but last time I did I bought a sachet of stuff you added water to and then left it to stand and it made a decent base. I think you have to put it somewhere warm. I might make one this week.

Diets are for birds. I was just trying to eat healthy and lose a bit of weight. I lost all the weight I wanted to. I'll be back eating healthy tomorrow so one day of decadence shouldn't be a problem. Need to start knocking up fruit and veg smoothies and home made soups again.

fruit aint the way forward, even though its healthy and all that shit, too much sugar, stick to veg n salad

Someone always comes up with some reason why something is bad for you. Fruit for years has always been a good thing to eat, full of vitamins etc, now it's suddenly not good for you. Was the same with meat. For years you needed meat for protein and iron etc then suddenly meat was bad for you. Bollocks. Stick to the basics of meat, fruit, veg and nuts, anything natural, and you can't go wrong. Some studies have actually shown that eating a load of fruit every day doesn't raise your blood sugar levels at all. Eating chocolate every day might though.

i didnt say it wasnt healthy, i just said its full of sugar. which isnt good for weight loss. plus for some people it triggers binge eating

If you're diabetic or something I'm sure you have to be careful. I'm 39 and I've eaten as much fruit as I like all my life, I'm a bit plump but really I'm athletic. I suppose some people are just sensitive to different foods. Like Rockstar recommending wonga, advising people to avoid fruit is bad general advice.
