progress on the texting situation :) I said some random other stuff then asked her 2 questions 1. Can she swim 2. Does she like kayaking.

She texted back laughing her head off as she is going kayaking with mates for her birthday, lol

So I replied saying that I asked as I thought it would be a much better date than dinner and a movie for a first date and she replied saying "Yeah, I totally agree, I have a friend who rents kayaks :):) I'll see how much I suck first lol".

I think she is still keen and that kayak text exchange seems to have been a good one :)
 
Have you ever been kayaking Mugz? I'm hoping the answer is no, this has serious potential to be a hilarious outing, with Mugz washing up somewhere in the Falklands.
 
I've kayaked from portsmouth to hayling island in one of the strongest currents in britain, I was chased after by my lifeguard uncle when he saw I was halfway across because the current has a tendency to drag people out to sea on the way to france. I made it easily though and was nowehere near being dragged off. I love kayaking :) never kayaked in a river though.

I cannot, have only ever used sit on top kayaks, the text convo is too kayak based. I need to think of another cool out of the box date idea to suggest, is go karting too manly or could that be a good suggestion?
 
Skiidiving or playing tap door run, both equal in terms of adrenaline rush and euphoria, you wont crave stims and she will crave your well shaven boaby after.
 
I think go-karting sounds a little too competitive for a first date and wouldn't really give you much opportunity to chat. I think the kayaking idea is a lot better.
 
don't put all your eggs in one basket mugz, i'd get another few on the go in case this one is just one of the many time wasters out there, saying that good luck :)

i'd suggest either dogging or fox hunting for your first date
 
I dont like to persue more than one person at a time, if this one fails I'll move on, but for now I wanna stick with it and see how it goes, although she is going kayaking for her birthday next week anyway, I guess it could still be a viable date, or maybe punting down the river cam
 
Ask her for one of her friends phone numbers so you can arrange with that friend to jump out of a cake in your birthday suit with a rose in your mouth for her birthday, she will think you are really sweet then <3<3<3

Careful punting, Mugz. High risk of someone ending up clinging onto the pole in terror as the boat glides off. Then falling in. And everyone laughing.

If you fancy something outdoors-y how about gorge-waling or caving (if she's not claustrophobic) or wild swimming? Or go-karting and the like..

I think aquariums make a good first-date place :)

Awful. Are you paying a subscription for this? I hope not. If that was me and I was paying for it I'd definately be speaking to a few, putting all your eggs in one basket at this stage is madness. It's called dating for a reason, trial and error.
 
^nah mate, it's all free, no subscription needed, is why i wanna focus on one at a time.

She said she is going kayaking for her birthday, so asking her out on a kayaking date is probably not the best idea for the day after her birthday kayaking

I suggested go karting effie :D I need to figure out what other things she likes to, or come up with some ideas and see what she thinks.
