Ever notice how people in zombie pictures struggle constantly, while the zombies are just constantly eating...

and speaking of the comics, we are approaching Issue 100! HOLY FUCKING SHIT. I had no idea that this wonderful little monthly rag would become such a ball-busting success, way back then

I don't collect comics to sell, even though I keep that shit immaculate and bagged and boarded like a civilized man, but I just realized that if I sold my TWD comics from issue 1 to 100.... I would be about $2,000 the richer! damn

I am shitting brix with anticipation. this feels like an event. Kirkman has been promising that TONS of characters are going to die (shocker)

Well, at the very least I can get drunk and laugh at how stupid all the characters are again...that's really the only good thing I have to say about this show anymore :\
 
What the MOTHER FUCKING shit?!

I was scrolling through my DVRed programs and it said "new" The Walking Dead. Pressed play to see what the hell was going on, even though I knew it was the series premiere from the description.

They did it in black and white?!

It doesn't sound that exciting at first, but it's July and I'm zombie-hungry. Also, it made it so much more intense.

I have now realized that nothing will ever top that first episode for me, in this series. It was perfect, IMO (in color or B&W).

Thanks for the heads up! I read your post and went over to ebay and bought issue 97,98,99 and the 9 variant covers for issue 100. I have the whole collection although it`s mostly in tpb form.

I was kinda pissed at how people list the issues. One guy had issue 97 listed as the "death of Abraham". Way to spoil it ebay guy.
 
@ Mr.Grunge Yeah,I`ve got to agree. As much as I love the comic, this is the show that I love to hate. It has it`s good points as well as it`s bad points but the way some of the characters behave(like Lorie in the Rick/Shane/love fest) just don`t make much sense.

And don`t get me started on "T-dog".:X:!:o:X
 
yeah poopie - they re-released TWD in black and white (I think it's as a special feature in the DVD). I think it's great! the reason why they did this was to pay homage to the comic book, which is still rocking the black and white format

LOL @ T-Dog. man I feel bad for that actor, as apparently he is very nice to the fans of TWD and entertains them with pics, autographs, and stories. but the guy HAS to go. specially now that they've introduced Michonne and the prison/Governor in the show? now it's about damn time to introduce one of the best supporting characters in TYREESE

and while Season 2 had the pacing of a snail, it seems that Season 3 is going to be JAM-PACKED with bad ass horror. I was rereading my MASSIVE TWD single issues collection, and was laughing out loud when they were at Hershel's farm, once again something that took up TWO ISSUES in the books

did anybody check out that trailer for the new season? seems legit

did anybody else read TWD # 100? Amor? freddy?
 
^Nah I've been away from my comic collection and therefore haven't purchased any new ones yet. Looking forward to it though. Had to restrain myself from reading your spoiler damn you Axl ;)

But Axl you think that perhaps T-Dog is the TV equivalent of Tyreese? Probably has already been said on this thread before but God I hope not. :\ That would just be a terrible decision.
 
no. T-Dog WILL NOT BE TYREESE. he isn't half the man Tyreese is. remember when Tyreese got stuck in that one room in the prison, everyone thought he was dead and mourned him, only to find him spent with dead zombies littering his corpse in the tens? holy shit moment...

and actually I think I read somewhere that T-Dog isn't Tyreese, by some AMC producer...

and I just looked up TWD comics on eBay. man I am so tempted to sell them all, when the show starts up again... but I probably won't. they just mean too damn much for me

and read TWD #100! it's not quite as good as the hype machine made it out to be, and it's a bit more on the smaller scale than what we were bred to expect, and it didn't quite gain new ground in terms of shock/gore/violence - but it's still good
