Never had sweet tasting stuff... It definitely smelled kinda "sweetish" but not... Sweet... If ya'know what I mean? Never tasted sweet though.
Nevertheless, the sting of the stuff never bothered me, the only think that got to me was the taste! So so strong, every time I swallowed a bit of drip I gagged and nearly threw up. I always had a very fizzy, usually sweet drink (kopparberg summer fruits or Coca-Cola, were two preferences) to counteract it. Water just didn't ever seem to cut it. I'd always move to the water once the drip had ended, though.

I kinda miss the stuff, haven't touched any in months now. We'll probably be reunited this summer, haha.

Both drugs create massive electronic music appreciation - or for many music appreciation in general, make you feel great/euphoria, rushes, eyebrows for dinner, make you socialize and dance. It's as simple as that. You can get nit picky and say 'well I prefer MDMA for being out/mephedrone for a party' but at the end of it most people are taking either of those drugs for the same scenario. Hence the reason at parties you'll find a good few people messed on pills and some others on meph and some greedy fuckers on both. ;) There are differences in effects but they work just as well for the same scenarios.

I was being serious. Meph had that 'pill' feeling at first, but the more you do it, the more you realise it mainly works on dopamine and it's a lot speedier than MDMA. It's what coke would be like if coke wasn't the most overrated crap ever. Nothing makes me horny like meph, but there's a very thin line between a good time and paranoia.

MDMA is better for doing out in clubs IMO - less chance of paranoia, not overly sexual and makes you a 'nicer' person. I don't get rushes off MDMA these days. :(

A semi-recent study suggests otherwise-
It's cited on Wiki in the Pharmacology section: "Mephedrone administration caused a ~500% increase in dopamine, and a ~950% increase in serotonin. They reached their peak concentrations at 40 minutes and 20 minutes, respectively, and returned to baseline by 120 minutes post injection. In comparison, MDMA caused a ~900% increase in serotonin at 40 minutes, with a non-significant increase in dopamine."

Original paper. I'd have a proper read through it if it wasn't so late. There's no contents page on that thing! 8( (Not surprising).

EDIT: Perhaps it doesn't work more on Dopamine, but going by the blood plasma concentration levels/time graph on pages 31 and 32, the levels of Serotonin drop very sharply, whilst the Dopamine levels continue to slowly rise, still, before falling, just as they rose- much slower.

^ That's a very interesting post, only just seen it. Quite believe it but cos the initial dunt is more euphoric than MDMA for me, blow the nut off euphoria. It probably becomes less so the more you do as your seratonin levels are completely raped. Hence the double edged comedown if you get me.

Definately some nice stuff about locally at the moment. Few boys I know are still going from friday last week just now, no sleep. Definately proper 4-mmc aswell and not cut it would appear.

I am keeping the frequency of my useage under strict control this time around, however! I haven't done it for a few weeks and don't intend to for another week or two.

It's still dirt cheap too and it's nice to see 4-MEC seems to be disappearing! :\

The level of euphoria from 4-MMC still never fails to amaze me, and always blows my brain to pieces each time! :!<3
 
well it is just interesting that on paper is releases the same amount of seretonin as mdma, but still can be taken a few days in row and still works pretty good (unlike mdma). also personally i always get depressed after mdma use, but not after mephedrone. ahhhh, what a beautiful chemical.

Are folk still getting meph online? Or buying locally?

I quite fancy some but I've not seen it for sale round here for ages. I think I need to find a team of 16 year olds lol. Everycunt I know pretty much forgot about it as soon as MDMA made a proper comeback. Sick of this shite ching though, I want something to put up my nose that actually works!!! Fuck ethyphenidate.
 
You're not looking hard enough. It's everywhere still, at least in my region. This years MixMag stated that it still seems to be the fourth most popular street drug in the UK, for the third year in a row. Look harder! There have been loads of seizures recently in my home town so it's often talked about in our local paper. "Bubble" is in abundance around here, and purity seems to be increasing which is a nice surprise. 4-MEC seems to have vanished, thank fuck. Fucking horrible substance.

Obviously a different crowd that's on it. Last time I saw it when it wasn't stuff I'd acquired was some wee guy about 18 year old pulling a bag of grams to sell out at this party my mate's band were playing at. Then I realised all the wee 18 year old students there were tuned to the moon on meph & not MD like I'd originally thought. That was the only time I've seen a dealer selling it since the ban - Like I said, my mates all pretty much forgot about it as soon as MD came back.
 
MDMA is fantastic, don't get me wrong. But it's not a "party drug" in my opinion. It's a club drug, and a lovely one at that!

Mephedrone is the ultimate party drug. Re-dose after re-dose keeps those fluid, magical conversations flowing, you bond with friends on totally different levels. That rushy, loved-up euphoria is second to none!

Get yourself to some parties where the age of the people there is like 16-22, you'll find some :D
 
There was some good stuff around here awhile ago, dunno about recently. been off it for awhile now. 6-APB shits all over some of the crap meph around here

I agree with you there. I tend not to take MDMA at all now unless I'm at a club & even then I won't always do it (even when I've already got some on me) whereas I used to pretty much have to. The problem is that MD wears off too quick & re-dosing after the club is just fucking pointless imo, most of my mates will still be dropping pills the next afternoon - all that does for me is prolong the amount of time until I can eat again, make it difficult to drink booze & make the comedown worse. At least with meph you still get a proper dunt while continually re-dosing (even if it does make you feel fucking minging at the end of it lol).

Nowadays I'll take one or two pills when out, possibly another one or two just as I'm leaving a club/getting to a party then after that I just get on the booze & shite cheap coke. Or I'll just stay off the pills completely & laugh at everyone else's wee swedge faces as I'm getting tore into a pizza or something on the way to a party haha.
 
I know what you mean mate, and I always rate the comedown from MDMA worse than Mephedrone, even when only having one decent dose of MDMA. It's odd since they release the same amount of serotonin and even odder since I - and many others - re-dose on my Mephedrone until it's all gone. I don't think I've ever had any left at the end of a session, whereas I usually always have MD left due.

Yeah sounds like me except I don't touch coke, it's a waste of money imo as it's usually just lidocaine...
