^^ Ah well. I did try to find an angle to make it seem a bit less like we'd been comparing notes in order to mount a dual assault on Mr SB and his Goon defence but suspected it was flimsy at best. Great minds and all that though 8)

Knock & Watson: Enjoy yer Gooning. Surely somebody other than MSB will enjoy it at some point? :D
 
i could do with checking out Kill Bill as well, think ive seen bits of it but not the whole thing,
 
Lol at a few pages back people praising a Sean William Scott film, as others have said, I would never willingly watch a sean william scott film again in my life, after the countless terrible performances in american pie and in some film I cant remember the name that also included "The Rock" :/ I can't ever imagine the guy being in a film that is good, maybe MSB finds it good because he is also a goon :D

I watched "The Express" the other day, although I'm not an American and it is an American Football film it is a pretty good watch, would recommend it if you like sports films that are based on true stories.

made it to the half way point in goon and i'm turning it off, pretty much waterboy on ice but much less funny. poo. smelly poo with worms in it.

That does it for me, will never watch it, as I have some mini OCD that makes me watch a film to the end even if it is total shit, just to finish it, I'm not going to waste however many minutes Goon is if I am wanting to turn it off halfway through.

I found it way funnier than waterboy. I think you need to watch waterboy as an older person to appreciate just how shit it is lol. Just watch Ne le dis personne or headhunters and all will be forgiven!
 
Did anyone watch Kontroll yet? Have you seen it Marmz? I recommended it earlier in the thread, but it's like a weird trip and very immersive. It sort of blends reality with the surreal in a way that I can't really compare to anything else, although i'm sure someone else can. For some reason I get the feeling it would be right up Albions street.

i'm harvesting the above films from the internet as we speak, i've kind of got waterboy and happy gilmore mixed up in my mind, i remember one being mildly entertaining...enough to watch the entire film anyway.

I don't think i've ever seen a sports comedy i've liked, cool runnings maybe?

not many people they can believe, Jamaica, we have a bobsled team

that was probably shit as well. fuck my memory
