i've got some black garlic in the cupboard but its just really old regular garlic, could i sell it at a super high mark-up at those posh farmers markets... hmmm.

I'm of the mindset that if you don't kill it yourself, you don't deserve to eat it. (I would be more than willing to kill some for survival purposes, if it were necessary, but it ain't so I wont)

not a sentimental veggie by any stretch ... grew up seeing me dad toss half alive and still wriggling eels into the frying pan ... but living things deserve more respect than what they're currently afforded imo

Bloody was yesterday. Pissed down for 36 hours straight. Back road into town turned into a raging torrent... well... a smallish raging torrent. Still a good three inches to wade through though. My flat now reeks of wet manky trainer :(

Also caused a lengthy powercut. No leccy from around 6AM to mid-afternoon today. Am actually glad for once I only have a flap ferra freezer so not much defrosted.

Been sunny all day today but still a bit of a gusher afoot down that back road. Evening shopwalk only increased the honk of manky wet trainer whiffiness. Is like a fuckin' accident in a Febreeze factory in here today :\

PS: Saw black garlic mentioned on some cookery show t'other day. Was black. Beyond that I know nowt of it. I do know of Marmz' recommended "One Clove, One Love" garlic though. Win <3

The "if you wouldn't kill it yourself you shouldn't eat it" stuff if just plain stoopid. I have no skill in slaughter. I'd probly just torment the poor fucker to a slow and painful death. Some things are best left to professionals.
 
If I had to resort to killing my own meat I'd never be able to eat meat so it's best left to the butchers. No point in ruining perfectly good food for myself.
 
I think the killing part would be the easiest part, it's just the whole dissecting part that I think might be a bit tougher til it eventually looks like meat. I don't think it would be that hard to use one of those guns on a cows head, or just twist a chickens neck? The only problem would be if I raised it, then there would be attachment issues. I feel sad when I cut down weed plants.
 
I don't have a cowkilling gun so will continue to leave that to the professionals. Sure I could wring a chucky neck if I really needed to but I don't and I'd probably just wind it and piss it off a bit if I tried anyway. There's good reason people get paid to do that kinda stuff. "Humane" killing and all that. Typical bloody Conservative trying to do the working classes out of their livelihood by getting amateurs to do it for nowt 8);)

Is it any good? I would know myself but they sent me the lego construction tuition cassette instead. Not what I was expecting but kinda fun. I'll provide some photographic proof of how inspired I was after listening.

So here is my scrap lego police rocket on wheels. Hand there in case of emergency engine failure (Pretension-powered; tis green technology)

My lil prezzy to meself did indeed arrive in timely fashion and a mighty fine quality prezzy it was too. Not much alliteration though. Think I may be past that stage now. Constructive anything stage is but a distant memory... Mostly did the endless tweaking and general fuckabout with 'puter stuff, quite a bit of filing and disorganising, bit of actual flat-tidying (8o) and even some minor socialising (8(). Blimey. Bordering on sensible use meself there but thankfully avoided by turning up three hours late and three-days-in twatted to me course and being removed from it soon after. Got transferred to a more drugpig-friendly option instead though so all in all a pretty damn tame run really.

Also, liked that tune you posted.
 
It's nice to see I'm not the only victim of the computer control panel. Trying to make myself aware of the fiddling before its too late and the motivation's all gone. Never all that successful though. The time I spent constructing I could equally have spent in depravity of various levels, was just a matter of what caught my eye first.

If you ever encounter a pile of lego whilst stimmed you will not rest, nor eat or drink until your creation is finished. And a lego creation is never finished. Finally can pull yourself away when your hands and knees are bruised from wading around sharp plastic trying so long to that matching piece you need to get that perfectly symmetrical design that you finally come down and nearly throw it all at the wall.

Best stick to redoses...they're reliably fun.

Considering handing me lappy over to a sensible adult for the duration of me next peev run. Just way too easy to get obsessive over what colour borders your windows have and what flavour icons you use or whatever. Can lose fuckin' days in that control panel. Thank fuck it's only Windoze cos the pointless fripperies fuckabout can go on for weeks on Linux 8o

Lost me connection for a few hours one night and that was when flat-cleaning occurred. Having less fiddly things to fiddle with in 'Puterland seemed to promote more fiddling with things in Otherland. No Lego here though :(
 
I took 15mg of Morphine earlier, not taking into account opiate tolerance, hoping that once it started to hit me, I'd take the other 15mg, when I felt I wanted to. But of course, I took the 15mg and didn't feel it by the time I left the house and walked to the girlfriend's. So I took the other 15mg anyway, and felt nothing. So I was just a wee bit disappointed, like... :(
 
30mg of morphine ain't necessarily all that much. Depends on what type you have. Extended Release (MSContins) are just that - take a while to kick in and doesn't kick in all that hard. Oral morphine also has very low BA so does shit all for many at low dose. Plug it for maximal effect.
