Wow, a some of you are quite judgmental and illogical...
Smoking resin isn't an indicator of being "lower class". It's an interesting high in its own right, and differs from cannabis itself. Due to the way that cannabinoids are preserved in the resin's carbon matrix, the ratios between them are highly altered. That is what makes resin highs powerful and very much a different beast from a normal bud high.
Now, to those who do not like resin because they fear health damage or find it distasteful, you're still illogically wasting a valuable resource. You could very easily use that resin; get a good solvent, dissolve the cannabinoids, and then extract them. Even if you can't achieve enough purity to be comfortable smoking the extracted product, it's still highly potent and filled with cannabinoids. You can merely vaporize the product, for excellent inhaled effects, OR, if you so desire, save it up and have an awesome oral cannabinoid experience! Two options for those who don't like the taste or the potential health detriments.
If you choose to be willfully ignorant and not take advantage of the cannabinoids that you PAID for, well that's your prerogative. But unless it's a lot of work for a particular piece, I'll collect resin and eventually use it for great effect once I have a lot. It's extra cannaboinoids. Why throw that away out of disdain (as opposed to being too lazy to bother, which I understand), unless you're just an arrogant guy who thinks the poor or "ghetto" people are unworthy and inferior by nature (you know, if you're a disrespectful person who imposes his perceptions upon other people and judges them arbitrarily for not having as much wealth and possessions as you do).
Equally abhorrent is the idea that it's simply dirty because you don't like it. It's no more "dirty" than smoking cannabis. In fact, cannabis will give you more tar relative to the mass you have to smoke to get high; you already smoked a lot of the tar out by the time you get to the resin stage. Really, smoking ANYTHING is already dirty, if you want to quibble. Smoking resin is a useful tool if you need it, though I save it up for extraction and oral use, myself.
