Had my sub appointment today, all is well for another month.

...Thinking about playing some summer baseball this year. Sounds like it would be a good time.
 
Subs used to be great as an anti-d and giving me a bit of an energy boost, so i imagine it would be a good time to get into some activities, especially since getting on a maintaince drug you want to get ahead in life.

Hell yes, I'm serious, and I have seen reznor sing it live. i get what you're saying..but this is what a real musician, writer, artist...this is what they do. they share themselves.
Cash's version is more than alright to me..

not that it matters, because it won't and doesn't..but nm...i'm not even gonna type it..

I feel ya, and I know trent has mad respect for the cover. I just personally find Trent's original to far better than the cash cover. Just my opinion though. However I do get upset when people try to associate Hurt with Johnny Cash and not Nine Inch Nails. Its all well and good to enjoy the cover, but atleast (not saying you) know that it's not a Cash original.

btw, saying NIN is my jam sauce, I was basically saying NIN is one of my favorite bands/artist of all time. Love me some nails.
 
Cloudy, I'm a fan too..of both...and when i pictured cash singing any of reznor's songs i was laughing on the inside...trust me.
but i feel it..and i feel the video...and that's what music's(art's) supposed to do..make you feel it..for me anyway...
Just remember I brought up it was a NIN song...but cash's is my fav. and we can agree to disagree. ;)
i'll have to steal jam sauce now..but i'll give you full credit..don't worry...:)

Trent Reznor on Johnny Cash' recording and video for Hurt.

"It really, really made sense and I thought what a powerful piece of art. I never got to meet Johnny but I'm happy I contributed the way I did. It felt like a warm hug. For anyone who hasn't seen it, I highly recommend checking it out. I have goose bumps right now thinking about it."

Of course I know that, and even said essentially that. I just disagree with trent (omg gasp). I'm allowed to think the johnny cash version is far inferior than the original nails version.

I kinda wish I was mod of OD. Next time there is a application for an OD mod spot, I think I'll apply
 
There is an application for BDD... I just finished writing it.

I like johnnys, but then i do love Johnny Cash.

I do prefer Reznors version though.

Personal opinion can't be construed as either correct or incorrect. ;).

Crew means that at one stage they were a Moderator and they have earned the title Crew by continuing to uphold the BLUA and being a worthwhile member since retiring. It is not automatically given, the title has to be requested and approved by Senior Staff.
