..Haven't you heard of brain-bubbles??! My friend had one and almost cried - Twice - And this was at night, as-well, which didn't help...
It seems that not many of us here know what brain bubbles are as well as what you are referring to as brain waves.
It seems both phrases have more than one meaning in totally different subject areas.
Please elaborate as I have searched quite a bit and found nothing on what you are speaking of and cannot find any information. Since offtopic ill get back on track and answer the originally posted question asked by me.
Excuse me for this extremely longgg amphetamine fueled post that is seemingly never ending LOL but i seem to have answered MY OWN question in the original post that started this thread. The subject title and question should have been "hallucinogen that most pleases the mind with little paranoia" with that said lets begin..
I have a theory that psychedelics which are serotonergic will produce effects that are the base for a euphoric and enjoyable trip. This will not be Actually tested in a lab but rather experiences, documented effects, and personal experiences will be taken into consideration to find the Most euphoric and mentally enjoyable trip. The trip should be one that is suitable for new inexperienced users and those more prone to mental illness. This was all done for a school research and awarness assignment. It is not yet finished but i decided id like to share it with bluelight as this sites's main goal is Harm Reduction and it answers my orignal post's question.
Back on topic with the beginning... After researching many classes of drugs, their effects, what they act on, and what the chemicals associated with the drug will do to the user, i have come up with the following to answer MY OWN question as this subject has grown on me...
Research on the following substances: how they work on the brain, effects experienced by the user, opinons of others from experience and my own experiences after the OP, as well as many articles taken from erowid.org and other well known sites.
DMT & its analouges: They are thought to be the most potent hallucinogens with the most intense visuals and effects by many. To most it is too potent visual wise and too sudden for a mindfuck-less trip. The sudden onset leaves no time to get the feel of the "new reality." During most trips users are almost unable to move. This is likely to cause anxiety. A number of experienced users are left in shock and awe after their first use and even with further uses with medium to high doses. This can be seen in the TIHKAL entry on 5-MeO-DMT.
Conclusion: Too intense unless experienced with effects of this substance. Other strong minded people can bear this drug. Not enjoyable unless in moderation IMO
Psilocybin (shrooms) : This is my favored choice after research of all candidates. Mushrooms containing this chemical seem to produce feelings of wonder, joy, and excitement. It is said to produce ego softening in most users thus reducing risk of paranoia or a dangerous mental state. Some feel emotional effects similar to MDMA . The visuals have been described as some to be happy thoughts or visuals from past experiences. A new thought pattern may help give better insight and new solutions to ongoing issues in life. Some terminally ill patients are rarely given psilocybin as a way of couping with the stress from the thoughts they have as the end of their life nears. <---(done in research tests with high success rate) The other effects that users find most pleasurably is the giggling/laughing, sympathy for others, as well as feeling connected with friends/people around them. Many find the feelings of being in tune with the world to be very euphoric. There is a lower amount of users that report bad trips on psilocybin mushrooms.
Conclusion: Favored choice. Outcome of ego softening and pleasurable experience more likely than not. Clear mind is noted in many thus reducing confusion leading to paranoia.
LSD: In my research and experience LSD produces visuals of patterns on objects, geometric shapes, and colors to change constantly. Past life experiences are generally relived as deep stored memory becomes accessible. Some positive past experiences and others are negative. Depending on the memory it can go either way. Some experience and report loss of visual contact with reality as things linking you to reality fade away. This leads to some being placed in a paranoid state of mind taking away from enjoying the trip.
Conclusion: IMO 70/30% chance of pleasurable time. With pleasurable trip being the 70%. The ability to access deep rooted memory allows negative experiences from the past the become present thus producing a paranoid, saddened, or regretful state. Would not recommend to those with rough life or those with frequent depressing or troublesome thoughts.
Mescaline: This substance can produce effects similar to that of psilocybin mushroom such as uncontrollable laughter, and mild to extreme nausea. The stomach discomfort tends to subside as the peak hits. Users often report little anxiety during the rise in their trip but as the peak sets in there seems to be a feeling of experiencing the world anew. Most "explore" the "new" world and find it to be exciting and euphoric. Some other effects shared with psilocybin are present such as feeling connected to the world and people around you. This poses a happy and enjoyable state quite similar to the feelings of MDMA as reported by some. Friends of mine experience this feeling as quite common and present in most of their trips.
Conclusion: Emotional feelings and mental state are very similar, if not identical, to psilocybin mushrooms. Feelings of wonder and the urge to explore the newly fascinatingly percieved world combined with the previously stated effects are all grounds for a positive and euphoric experience. 2nd Choice IMO
Dissociatives: Reason for this being generalized is that most drugs in this class have many of the same effects. Depersonlization is when the user feels as if they are not real. Often they forget their name and sometimes even what human is. This is often described as a near death experience or even feel like you are dead. With this taking place the user can be thrown into a paranoid state which can be one of the worse types. Another effect is feeling disconnected from the world and the mind often seems blank and empty. This makes the feeling of being dead even more present and strong only fortifying the paranoia. This class of drug is not as common as the effects of becoming disconnected from the world is not sought after by many. Although some people who try to escape reality and the stresses of it seek this effects making for an enjoyable experience.
Conclusion: not recommended to weakminded individuals or those with mental illnesses present in immediate family or symptoms being present in user. Most likely class to cause paranoia and confusion.
2C-x Family: I have stayed away from this family as some members are highly researched and others not so much. Each member varies greatly. Some with visuals and other just stimulation. No further information.
Overall conclusion: With these substances researched i have found in my opinion the reasons as to why some are more dangerous than others to those prone to mental illness or breakdown as well as psychotic episodes.
IMO Psilocybin has the most enjoyable effects as well as less risk of mental breakdown or harm. This is due to the sense of well being and lighthearted effects it has on the emotionals and thoughts of the user. This tends to be the most sociable out of the researched above because of the feelings of connectedness to others.
Mescaline comes in at second solely due to the fact that it is most simliar to psiolocybin in effects.
LSD in third with IMO with 70/30% chance of an enjoyable trip.
Dissociatives in fourth as most users do not like the empty feeling or feeling of not existing.
DMT in last as it tends to be the most intense. So much so that the user cannot stabilize the racing thoughts, feelings, and visuals produced. ayahuasca with dmt as the main chemical is said to almost every time produce a trip for the user that is painful to bear as thoughts that are uncomfortable are brought to light.
Since this was done as an assignment to show the danger of psychedelics in the mental aspect for school i decided to share it with Bluelight as it is a site of harm reduction. Plus i answered my own long thought of question
