I'm going to the docs on wednesday. Last time i requested some codydramol he paused for ages & said 'i'm getting worried about you & the things you are asking for'.
Well goddamnit i'm kinda worried that he gave me 30 tramadol just after i'd started venlafaxine as i read they have a serious interaction...
I'm done with antidepressants. On wednesday i'm gonna tell him 'okay i'm coming off the venlafaxine, forget the cocodamol & or codydramol I want a slow release painkiller so i dont have to pop 6 -8 pills a day on top of my diazepam reduction ( down to 12 mg per day now )
What do you lot think my options are? I'm in the u.k. I know there's slow release dihydrocodeine but i dont reckon he'll give me those, but hey worth asking right? Then there's those slow release tramadol. I'm just gonna be straight with him & tell him i want an analgesic that i just have to take once or twice a day.
You need to let your doctor know that you have a medical marijuana card. As long as you are upfront and don't try to hide anything, there shouldn't be an issue. If they make you choose between mmj and them, you should find somewhere more sympathetic.
