sorry mate on that, i meant sulfate as in amphetamine sulfate which is the common form of amphetamine. with your description of a yellowy mush, that could have been just an impure form of methamphetamine hcl or maybe a form of amphetamine. i just think if someone here was producing amphetamine they would try to make it into a whiteish fluffy teexture as apposed to a wettish mush which would resemble more like methamphetamine than amphetamine (sulfate), i believe amp sulfate could perhaps be sold at a higher price than the typical methamphetamine hcl (non crystalised version) and it would make more sense in the cooks producing something that looks of better quality

this was through bikies , and was definitly not ice because they were absolutely ripping into me for being an ice user . also he got 250 dollars worth which would have gotten us a shiiiiiiiiiiiiiitload less if we got ice (any speed connection i have had has been roughly <snip>a gram) .

Lots of 'speed' users rip into 'ice' users because they have no idea the drugs are the same thing. 'Shards' is just a rebranding of meth really, giving it a different name and a different look allows it to be sold to people who don't know any better at an exorbitant price, but the price itself is not always a good indicator of purity or anything else. Generally shards are more pure than 'speed' but it's not a given.

Yeah the 'gas' is odd stuff, slow onset, makes you feel wired for a little bit then it's just smacky I find - also has a disgusting comedown.

Yeah after my last post and dealing with the usual fuck around again the same situation happened, he was busy so gave me the number of the guy he sources it from and now it's easy street. Called him up twice over the last 3 days and got sorted straight away.

This new guy said alot of the Brissy shard at the moment is average, I didn't pay too much for this so I'm okay with it but it's mediocre i'd say, burns for a while so probably highly cut. He did say he expects it will go back to being amazing again real soon though.

Haha dealers quitting is the worst - How dare they make sensible life decisions. Yeah awesome, drop back on here and let us know if it was average or not? Would be nice to know that somewhere in Brisbane some decent stuff was floating about.

Yeah the whole everybody knowing each other thing makes a lot of sense actually, less chances to get away with it. As I just said before I'm not onto some very fair priced stuff, makes everything a heap better. Those newbie prices were killing the wallet.
 
GOODUSER thanks so very much for your reply. Really appreciate all your comments. It's nearly 2am here and I am happy to say I'm awake just because I can be. Have not had anything for over a week.

To be honest I don't have the coin at the moment. Bills first. But the main clincher being my dealer is away. Not back until mid May.. Which have to say I am happy about. I know as soon as he is back I will score. But it's good to know I'm not in the grips of it so bad I am sourcing elsewhere.

I probably do recognize in myself a kind of 'flatness' in my mood. I can certainly laugh and enjoy life, but I do at times just feel flat. No anxiety or mental health issues but recognize I do tend to go from bliss to skitz in a heartbeat. When I was 33 people used to say I looked 25.. I just turned 39 and probably look, well 38 haha.

My use was getting totally financially out if control. Oh and I can't score and sit on it. Im a pig in that regard.

Again really appreciated your post. I know I am strong willed so really want to get a handle on my use. Have not been 2 weeks without for months. This break will be good for me. Probably still think about it easily daily though.

I reckon 4corners should make another doco about this subject. As the ice epidemic is probably 10times worse now due to the MDMA draught of 08-09ish. Almost everyone that were happy taking googs every weekend turned to the pipe. Smoking meth has become an ok thing to do in a house party etc. As in hte past, toking the naughty pipe was considered taboo'd/evil etc etc, thanx to the govn's DONT SMOKE ICE ad's. But these days seems like everyone and their grandmas and their grandma's dogs and cats had their own crackpipe in one hand, and a lighter in another!

I guess what I'm trying to say is, producers and editors of 4corners, if you are reading this post/thread. Make another doco YO
 
Ice is like the in thing now everyone is raging ice these days, its common as weed smoking nowadays. Pretty much all the kids in my hood rage up ice now, I remember back in my days the kids would chip in money to get a bag of weed now these new gen kids chip in money to score a point of ice.
 
GOODUSER forgot to say that so far my teeth are fine. Recently had a wisdom tooth with a hole pulled, but think that's just age or one of those things.

Glad to here you are going well, and you statement about being able to pull yourself out of any hole was powerful. Hope you never forget you said that. ;-)
 
Yeb yeb, its a sad thing that its getting accepted now. ITs too late, nothing can be done about it now. EPIDEMIC is here. and here to stay. Even though good decent mdma pills are around, people have developed/acquired tastes for icey icey shardyd party now, and pills just dont do the trick no more.

AND whos to blame???????????? who ever caused the pill draught 2-3yrs ago yo :)

If we never had the pill draught, we would have wayyyyyy less stim junkies now. The ppl that were just pill poppers would probably still be pill popping and probably never would of converted to meth.

yep. despite everyone acknowledging ice is a pretty bad drug, the pipe is more accepted these days.

I remember years ago a mate pulled the cherry ripe out one night around non-drug people, they looked down upon him and never treated him the same after that. At the time some chick asked "wtf is that then?" his reply "oh.. it's just smokable speed y'know??"
 
yeh id agree with that and its funny cause i got hooked to the pipe more so than the drug...its just so damn fun playing with the pipe
