I've just recently started a new job and I've been sleeping terribly, I keep waking at 4am and not being able to get back to sleep. So I've been taking 2mg of etizolam every night for the past week and a half. Even then I'm waking at 6am. I'm worried I'm going to become dependent on it.

I tried taking nothing before bed time the other day and I didn't get to sleep till 1am, then I woke at 4am, not being able to sleep. Work was awful.

In case anyone is wondering, using Etizolam will cause a positive for benzos on a urine analysis drug test.

It's also not a compound to be taken lightly. If you dose to much you will end up acting foolish and blacking out. 2mg or more will have you slurring and blacking out if you don't go to sleep. It has a half life of 3-4 hours but it breaks down into two active metabolites that have a 8 hour half life. You have to be careful with redosing because of this.

I know there is no pill ID but I will point out 2 things:

There are pharm grade ones in strips

and then it exists as a pure powder (WARNING - DANGER) but more recently they have been made into pellets - theres no guarrentee a 1mg is 1mg or how good they are done unlike the pharma ones.

Another thing you CAN SNORT it even though it's not water souble. it's similer to Midazolam less rush/buzz though.

Well, I tested to the breaking point the limit to which I can mix Etizolam and alcohol last night. I've been taking 2mg along with two beers and hit of weed every night for a while now, which has been great for relaxing in front of the tv and then getting a great night's sleep.

Last night I went to a friends house and ended up having three of my usual beers, half a can of 9% gut-rot that someone else couldn't finish, and 3mg. This led to me puking my guts out and (seperately, thank god) voiding out the other end too. After that I had to lie on the bathroom floor for about half an hour. Pretty fucking embarrassing. Good thing there were only close friends present.

Anyone know how long these after effects will last?? :/

Once the etiz clears you'll have a solid day or two where you cannot recollect anything. It's scary, don't over do it with etizolam. Your memory will return fine after that though, provided you aren't going at the stims.

Yeah I've never had such a long mind blank, my memory feels frazzled, it's hard communicating.
No stims, just some bud. I'm not sure what's best to do, I haven't taken any more for at least 12 hours or day or something, but have 5mgs left. Is it best to go cold turkey or ween myself of them? Sleep would be amazing

If you've been using daily for a while you would want to taper. If you've just had this binge then there's no reason not to go cold turkey, your sleeping should improve within a day or two. If I were you I'd have some of that bud.

I'd blame the 9% gut-rot before I blamed the etizolam. I've never puked on etizolam and booze, and I've taken stupid amounts. I've never even felt queasy.

Im a total newbie to benzos, I have snorted 4mg now over a few hours, and im not getting any slurring or close to blacking out, just pure relaxing feeling and maybe a little tired.

I can't remember Seriously I've never timed it. As I don't find it recreational, I've only found it useful for getting to sleep. I never know exactly when I fell asleep. Based on the couple of times I've done stupid quantities I'd guess it works in 15-30 minutes as the last thing I remember is taking the dose, then possibly vague memories of doing stupid shit, then coming to in places I'd rather not be.

Oh I do. I'd have been okay if I hadn't got into that rotten stuff. But the etizolam definitely contributed - there's no way I'd had enough alchohol to puke like that.

What is the brand of Etizolam you are taking? Etillam is what I take.

Etizolam has a bioavailability of 93%. There is no need to snort it. Additionally, yes you can snort it, but because it isn't water soluble the thing getting you high is the drip you swallow, not from it being absorbed by the mucous membrane.
