My friends the state of the scene is in serious trouble...

This isn't true, at least in the US. There are plenty of 'scam tabs'...amphetamine / methamphetamine really ARE often cut into tabs...

That being said, the last few sets of rolls I've gotten have been really good and pure (was sometime last year I got about 5, they're gone now).

But years ago when I used to buy more rolls I picked up some that were tested proven like 75/25 mdma / meth .. they weren't too bad actually, they were just a bit too stimulating... but yeah a trip on over to pillreports or whatever testing site would show plenty of 'scam tabs' with all kinds of shit... amps, pipes, caffiene, etc...
 
While I cannot speak for what the "scene" used to be before 2005, I can say that the easy availability of RC's combined with peoples extreme desire to make easy money has totally fucked up the MDMA/MDA scene at most concerts/events I attend. From underground raves to Phish tour, I'd say about 75% of the "MDMA/MDA" I purchased was either Methylone or totally bunk. Recently I was fortunate enough to come into a reliable source for extremely high quality MDMA powder, oh the reactions of some of my more ignorant friends when they tried that after eating god knows what at shows for so long.

It also seems as though quality pressed pills are becoming a thing of the past, at least on the east coast. Last time I had any good pills were the pokeballs, and that was just because my cousin from LA came to stay with me for a summer and brought a few hundred of those amazing things. Every pill anyone I know has tried around here in the past 3 years has been piperazine or totally bunk.........:(

It's such a damn shame how hard it is to find quality stuff these days because I firmly believe (based on personal experience) when used responsibly, MDMA/MDA both are very useful tools for the treatment of various psychological issues from anxiety to PTSD. I would not be leading the happy life I am today had I not discovered these chemicals.

Yeah, i haven't had any MDMA in roughly 4 years until last weekend where i had an opportunity to experience crystal MDMA. It was shear random luck that it appeared, as i've never seen it before.. it was also the first time i've snorted it; which perhaps wasn't the best method of administration because the euphoria hit me like a truck within seconds.. could barley see straight, it was just so ridiculously intense.. it was probably about 250mg of crystal.. i honestly forgot how amazing it felt. And for the next 3 days i had no comedown, infact i felt amazing.. like a renewed feeling for life.

It was a nice refreshing trip down memory lane, but i dont think i'll make a habit of it like i did back in the day.
 
i agree with so many of your posts. Im from Chicago and we had great stuff. The dea cracked down on the mints which allowed the flooding of shitty pills. Now u have an epidemic of all this crap which is causing the most harm to people. when they r desperate, they r just taking whatever they get their hands on.
 
We have been fortunate in Chicago for awhile until a couple months ago. The mints have been the best pressed ive ever had. Now the dea stepped in and now its all garbage

I just have to imagine the people of chicago will hopefully be able to control their scene a little bit. Mints will feel a lot different than Pipes to most people who are experienced. Its the people who forget what real MDMA feels like that are becoming a big source of the problem.

Dude 2005-6 maybe even 7 yielded an amazing scene in the midwest US. The scene died down with all those RC"s and all the kids think they're rolling, and that's where dubstep comes from children.
 
I agree personally as many of the younger ravers and scene members don't have the knowledge base to back up their drug use. This can lead to several dangerous situations including heart failure and exhaustion and with an ever expanding variety of chemicals many of which have little or no research done on them the danger increases ten fold.

The best thing anyone can really do is stay ahead of the curve and continually educate themselves on what they plan on doing and the possible adverse effects of those actions. PHIKAL and THIKAL are essential reads for anyone who imbibes psychedelic substances as well as provides an excellent reference base for what is available and how to use those chemicals safely. I'm pretty sure online versions are available.

Its also important to keep in mind not everyone involved in the scene, young or old, is a good person. A lot of people out there are looking to cash in on young and intelligent people as a way to counteract the bitterness of their own lacking success and ineptitude. Keep this in mind and you will understand why inner circles aren't quick to accept new members or even make friends really.

The title of this thread says it all. There are some that seem to think that this title contradicts the actual reality of whats going on in the e scens today. This title however says it all. The e scene in the states is in a dire crisis. Based on percentages alone on pr the east coast is running at a 90% bunk rate whereas the nation as a whole is running most likely at 70% bunk rate. Is it just me and folley that see this problem or is it seen by the masses?

sigh. ok, you've made it clear that you're 100% confident that the numbers for pr map exactly on to the population in the real world. by your own admission, you don't understand statistics but you stubbornly stick to your guns even though numerous people have demonstrated in this and other threads that your extrapolation is likely to be inaccurate, and why that's the case.

you're free to believe whatever you want. but when you (and folley - who now freely admits that he embellishes the truth to make his point, that accurate numbers don't matter and he's comfortable telling somebody they took piperazine even if the pill doesn't contain piperazine) try to pass off this opinion, speculation and fabrication as factual information, we have a problem.

this post is to remind everybody else who is reading this post, that saying: "9 out of 10 samples are bunk therefore exactly 9 out of 10 pills in the real world are bunk" is inaccurate and to encourage others to strive to base their hr on factual information and not speculation, embellishment and fabrication.
