Benzo Discussion Vol. 3 (I think? Last night's a blur..)

Could be taking them on a full stomach or tolerance? Body chemistry? Maybe try a shorter acting benzo although I'd advice against it as they're addictive wee f**kers
 
I don't get any grogginess from Diaz, I'm up at 5am every morning and don't need to get up before &am, inf cat I'm not even at work at the mo so I could just stay in bed.

However I have a disgraceful tolerance and use daily but I don't ever remember next day grogginess, must be my tiger blood :)
 
Pffft my pocktes would never be deep enough to support "real" Diazempam....go talk to Ismene about purity, any how when was the last time you actual tried any non-real Diaz ? ;)
 
Just hold of some Lorazepam. Necked 4 buy I'm not holding out for anything special. I think I've done me receptors in if that's possible? Maybe a dab of MXE to liven it up?

If you've been on GABA receptor antagonists for a while then your GABA / Benzo receptors will be downregulated.
I know mine are as I've been kaning Benzos and Booze for far too long.
A stupid amount of Temaz + Booze will do little to me :\
Need to sort that out really....
 
Must say these might V.V's are good, atleast 5mg at minimum, get me to sleep like a queen, anyoine?

Bit the same as my story. 10 Lorazepam didn't touch the sides last night with 2lt of cider which is a shame.
 
Is it possible for benzos to just stop working? My tolerance must be through the roof. I have taken them recreationally for about 3 years. Never had to taper as only use for a day or two (thats all they usually last) Some examples of what doses I've had over the last few months are...

100 MSJs lasted 2 days
25 EU Xanax 1 day
50 HKs 2 days
50 2mg Lorazepam 1 day

When I see a mate flake out on 20mg of diaz it blows me away.

That's over about the last 2-3 weeks. Thing is, People can tell I'm on them but I lost the good effects long a go. To get to the stage where I feel a high the dose is large enough to block my memory. Its a bollix as I used to love them just to chill and get a wobble on. I think the game might be up to be honest. Longest break I've had has been maybe a few months but I don't thinkn that made a difference. Would like some feedback if any one has any similar experience.
 
I was wondering if there is anything better than alprazolam for the comedown after a rave night.
 
^ All the hypnotic benzos are better than alprazolam for this purpose.

Tolerance is a bitch and if your hammering your GABA receptors like that on a regular basis its not really surprising, even to a non medical person that there is going to be some payback.

Sounds to me like you lucky, you seem to have to no dependence however when using those kind (or any kind I guess) of doses of Diaz you have to consider the half life, when was the last time you didn't take any benzos for more than 10 days ? if thats a regular occurrence then I'd just knock them on the head purely down to the sheer amount of chemicals your body is having to process for very little effect.

If you are saying you are taking benzos every 3-4 days then you will have to taper, someone please feel free top correct me if I'm wrong here but the tolerance and the apparent lack of regular use don't seem to fit ?
 
Never had to taper before. I actually have it wrote down on a calendar this year what I've taken and its not good reading. Along with the above there was another few hundred 10mg diaz. Last time I took any was Saturday (Lorazepam) but I know from experience I'm free and clear of any physical side effects related to a taper. Mentally... well we'll see. I've always lacked confidence and am always worrying an awful lot about nothing really. I have most of the signs you read about. My memory is TERRIBLE. Attention span as well... the usual things.

I've also cained a lot of other drugs over the last 15 years, quite heavy drinker also so who knows? I know my GABA receptors need a holiday for sure.

So you do regularly go for 10 days or so with no benzos ? Diaz can still be in your system 200hrs after ingestion, I'm just concerned you may have more of a habit than you think, either that or you plain weird....welcome to BL =D
 
There are people who are *quite* immune (ie to a certain point) to benzo withdrawals, atm. I know that because I'm one of them.

Yeah I do usually for 10 days in between benders or what ever you call them. I've actually got it wrote down (hope I'm not boring anyone)

10 Jan... 100 MSJs 1 or 2 days? Tale end of a mad December where copious amounts of drugs including benzos were taken.

1 Feb... 100 MSJs lasted a few days

4 Feb... 25 Ksalol Xanax / 50 MSJs over a few days

13 Feb 50 Zepam Diaz 1 day

20 Feb strip of Etizolam not a tingle

13 Mar 50 HKs 2 days

16 50 2mg Lorazepam 3 days

That's this year. Just to give you an idea. Last year was much the same... very sporadic with bigger breaks. I was ate 40 UK 10s and actually couldn't get a sleep that night. Have to say every time was mixed with large amounts of booze. The only ever time I experienced withdrawals was when I was on Librium in 07 after ending up in A&E because of coke. I didn't know what the were and took them on and off for a few months. I got the palpitations/insomnia/rebound anxiety etc... but I just thought that it was the symptoms that I was put on them for coming back... not withdrawals.

Anyway that's that. I guess it would be a good idea to call it a day now seeing as they don't work no more. If they did I'd still take them because I just love that chilled out felling. Like after a good workout type of thing. Thanks for the replies anyway its good to here other stories.

You would have been better off taking 4 honestly .
I ain't messing about either i've been on the cunting things for nearly 17 years every fukin day.
Once you get to a certain tolerance heroic doses like that will not have a different effect to normal ones.

I made a long post about it somewhere in this thread i'll find it for you .
