@ atm - I've contacted my housing association to ask if they can change the buzzer to a not so intrusive one , the sound is so metallic and loud it makes me jump, even when i'm expecting someone. I've asked them for a newer one with a privacy button. They won't do it until they've finished seeking legal advice to see if they can still kick me out, it's complicated. I'm still facing homelessness.

Kate, the girl is called Deja, the boy was called Vu, but I didn't like it, then he was called Ink, then Retro, but i've got used to calling him kitten recently. He quite suits Kitten.

had a few pts in my local which use to be hoppin n buzzin, when i left there was 3 lads in pub all 3 pissed n talkin shite.
not a sign of drugs - birds - fun.

i often sit in the wends n think am i missing things up the pub with the lads - AM I FUCK there wasting there time n money while i sit in for a few weeks then head to town/festivals/gigs/,manchester etc

Shame I could have that fixed up for you in half an hour tops, you would only need to open the unit and put a switch on the one of the wires going to the buzzer, job done. I don't get down you way that often but of I do I'll let you know, my brother in law lives down there but he's no talent in such things , does pub quizzes since the BBC sacked him for being too lazy =D

Glad you're enjoying the kits Cherry. But if he's reaching puberty she won't be far behind, and the second she comes into season you're pretty much guaranteed 6 extra little mouths to feed. I'd get this done as a priority :) Did you find out if you can go to the PDSA?

Prevention is better than cure, and so much less hassle ;)

I just wanted to chip in and agree with this.

We started out with one cat that we didn't get spayed as she was indoors for her first 6 months (rough area of London, would have got eaten by one of the many Staffie "crosses" round our way). We moved to a better area and let her out for the first time. The neighbourhood Tom found her that very same day, and now we have 5 cats!

I kept them all because they were all different and awesome, but it costs me quite a lot. 3 spayings, 2 castrations, 5 microchips, 5 rounds of injections each time they're required, 5 rounds of flea treatments, worm treatments. And they get through about 10-15kg (£50 ish) of iams a month!8o

If your cats don't go outside, just get the boy done for now. It's an easier op (was cheeper at my vets too) and it will stop him from getting in the habit of spraying. Once he starts doing that he'll carry on, nuts or no nuts. But i'd seriously get them both done ASAP. I'm pretty sure you can get assistance for that (if not PM me).
