So I see - how boring *yawns*

Had a few strange dreams myself that included a quad-bike, rolling spliff and cycling up big hills all at once. G was involved at one point and I was an angry, frustrated old lady - must be catching that...gotta love em dreams!

More tea in the mod-thread - it's all we do all day folks ;)

I'm concerned that in my semi inebriated state last night my stance on public schools was a touch opaque... To be clear, I think everyone should be burnt to the fucking ground... :)

Some new John Cale stuff for today's walk to work. Still on fire in his 70s!

It would seem Cale has retained more of his faculties than poor old Lou, on recent evidence.

I'm both dreading and looking forward to walking about today - dreading the cold but happy that it's already light out there.
 
It is miserably cold out here... Poor daffodils.

Might have to reward myself with some pret porridge, if only to vicariously try and soak up some of the staff members' sesame street style youthful optimism and joy, like some kind of public sector vampire..

I've avoided hearing Lou's efforts with Metallica. I think I'll try and keep it that way.

i've been afflicted with this cunt of a bug for the last few days but lastnight it decided to keep me up

And to make matters worse this fucking laptop decided to have an 'automatic flash update' which meant waking from sleep and lighting the room up 3 times, had to power the cunt off, not happy :X

Aye theres a nasty one going round atm half my familys got it atm, doesnt last too long few days max mate battle on!

my 2c on the state v private school thing, varies school to school but those that go the private schools are a fuckload more likely to end up in higher paying jobs. Stating the obvious since i have nowt decent to contribute. Gibber.
 
on the state v private matter, i was lucky enough to go to the best state school in my area and i feel im fairly well educated but my gf has gone to private schools and she is definitely better educated, if not in knowledge in manner and politeness, things we just didn't learn in state schools, but for the cost of the tuition i don't think its worth it, but saying that i went to school in devon, she went in hampshire and london, had it been the other way round i think it would be quite a different story, the state schools here in london are really terrible

It might be what I had a couple of weeks ago, that started out with the worst headache I've ever had and my sense of balance was absolutely fuxxored. Comfort yourself with the fact that whatever it is might have passed through another member of EADD before reaching you? No, that doesn't really work. Get well soon.

^ lol at forum-borne viruses, mine is more nausea and dizziness with a banging headache, plus i think im developing a chest infection from all this hash i smoking, just had a nice coughing fit that ended up in bile being thrown up..lovely

Haha i like to think im well educated too, just a daft cunt 8) Got a few mates that went to private and they all live in mansions or in the middle of nowhere, fuck me how the other half live. Riding round ona 3k quad bike tripping my tits off on 2ci was one to remember though haha, guys family had all that land. But yeah back on topic, some are sound from there but some are stuck up little twats, referred to us as 'commoners' and it was all alright for them cause mummy and daddy would pay for everything, extra tutoring uni fees etc. Sounding a bit bitter now, but they'l all go far. But then, so could state school kids if they proper work at it (and with a touch of luck)

My school was alright considering, well alright for me, fairly rough school & i was never one for classrooms but they were hesitant to kick me out cause i had a half decent brain on my head, drug addled or not so they just let me do my own thing, which was half work but much better than classes, got all b+ in my exams though so something musta worked. GCSE's though so they meant fuck all, left school after that wanting to work for a bit and chip abroad, all iv ever wanted to do. Didnt work out. lol. (yeah im really not a morning person, sound bitter as fuck)

Aye thats all it mainly is, a complicated memory test. Being a benzo addict didnt help haha. I reckon not placing my life into schools and colleges helped me be more open minded, shut alot of doors though too

Man why aint the corner shop open, outta baccy & i need a fucking cig! and some sleep
 
What's wrong with my little dog?

He was all bouncy yesterday, attacking the cat, playing, came out for a walk, his poos still look fine.

but this morning, me wife phoned me at work to say he doesn't seem right...

I've just popped in for cup of tea, and she's right, he's shaky, looks sort of scared, tail down, subdued, didn't even bound up to greet me, and doesn't want to play with his favourite toys.

If he's bad still when I've finished work I might take him down the vets. :(

Poor little Hero.
 
Nowt worse than pet-worries. Hopefully it'll just be a dog version of the various viral infections that are going around, and he'll be right as rain before you know it.
 
he looks so fucking sad, gonna try and see if he'll have a bit of chicken, if he don't go for that something must be very wrong :(
 
The chicken will do it, I'll bet.

My dog would occasionally give himself some minor poisoning / digestion issues too, from various bits of vegetation he'd eat. That was usually accompanied by strange-coloured vomit though.
 
Ahh that sucks dude, hopefully after abit of chicken he should perk up, you haven't left any stashes around that he could have gotten at? a few years back my mates dog was acting well strange and then passed out for ages, he then found valium all over his floor, seems the dog decided to have a nibble on the bag and must of eaten a fair few in the process!
