Yeah i think you could be right! I don't know why i'm so determent not to go over the 60mls? I'm back in the clinic in two weeks, if i don't feel better by then i will deffo up my dose, your right it is a no brainer!

Kat probably too late for you to get this but the best advice you have been given is to plead Not guilty and let them fuss about and pull all the evidence together - if it look like its a forgone conclusion then change your plea in court.
 
I use to have the same feeling about 70mgs - never wanted to get higher - and i dropped it too 40 in about 2 weeks right at the beginning of my script - piss easy to do. Now i vary from 100 or so after a long binge but dropping 5mgs a day till i get to a stage where i feel well normally between 20-30 , i did get down to 10mg once. But the only way to do a rapid detox IMO is to do a long run on the gear for a few weeks taking no 'done then starting on a high amount 80/90 what ever and drop 5 a day , Ive done it loads of times and never had a problem with it. Personally I think that all people that go to clinics should be put on a rapid detox from gear as if you have no 'done in you its v easy to come off in 2 weeks THEN if you need help you could get a mmt but many would just walk away - as most dont want a script to stay of gear they want it to stay on gear.
 
This is how i got off my MMT.

I bought a large amount of the same gear bagged it up in to points n started on 5 a day n over the next month got down to half a point n then used DFs for a fortnight it was almost painless .

Of course i had to get someone else to administer me with the Heroin .
& A schedule was drawn up b4 hand .
The person holding the gear made it clear if i tried any bullshit then they would flush the whole lot n they meant it.

Anyway it worked n i stayed off everything for about 8 months until a family bereavement sort of led to a relapse.

I always fancied the way Aleister crowly did it (I think it was in diary of a dope fiend) where he had 20 units or H to start then the next day 19 h 1 c, then 18 h 2 c......allthe way until he was just shooting 20 units of coke -

In a chemical reaction like that the drug is either there forcing the color change or it's not so there is no colour change. There are tests like that though it doesn't "decide" which colour to go, if the solution is well saturated with a chemical that reacts with morphine by changing colour from green to blue say, and the morphine is used up in that reaction (rather than acting as a catalyst) the more morphine the more of the chemical changes colour and the shade of the whole solution would range from pure green (no morphine) to pure blue (enough morphine to convert all the chemical) I remember a test just like that in college where we filled a cuvette with water and a clear reagent that turned yellow, the stronger the yellow the more nitrates or whatever was in the sample. Of course that was in a lab and a machine measured the yellow but there was still quite an error. The problem here is accuracy is a function of the mass of powder put in, with errors in the mass skyrocketing with smaller samples, the less you test the less accurate your results but I don't think anyone especially Blondin was vouching for the accuracy of these tests, just that they exist(ed),

your so lucky there is shit down here in northampton i have to travel to birmingham for decent stuff!!! i spent <snip> on gear yesterday and didnt even get a buzz! sooo fed up with the shit thats down here.

Yeah i was thinking about Kkat a lot to-day, i really hope she is ok! I think she is probably gonna stay over the night in the area were the court is, but i'm not sure? I hope she is ok, she seems so nervous, i'd be the same. Its must be so upsetting for her to have to pack her flat up & all that. Thats not Kkat in that link Cornishman, its not her name anyway. Hopefully she will be back on posting to-night or tomorrow! <3

@ Blondin, yeah i did a rapid detox years ago. I had only been using heroin regularly for about a year & i wasn't on methadone at the time. I started on about 50mls, after 3 days i dropped to 45mls then another 3 days & i dropped to 40mls. Then i started dropping about 5mls every second day till i got down to 5mls. (I think thats the rate i dropped at?) Then one day i forgot to take my 5mls & thats when i realized that the job was done!!! :)

It took me just over 3 weeks to get clean & i felt fine the whole way through! I had no problems & no sickness! I think i may have had one or two nights at the start when i couldn't sleep, but nothing major. It was an amazing feeling when i realized that i was clean!!! :) I managed to stay clean for 3 months!!! & then like an eejit i decided to celebrate being 3 months clean by scoring!!! Doh!!!! 8(

But yes your right the only way i could do a detox like that again is to give up the methadone for a while & go back on the gear (Ummm... I'd like that bit!!! :) ) then when the methadone was out of my system to a rapid methadone detox! But its true, we all use methadone as an enabler so we can keep using heroin without getting sick in-between scoring!

With all due respect , I really think to snip Mandys post was a bit OTT.
She wasn't talking about weight, or how much gear is where she's from , just how much she spunked on gear yesterday.
You probably don't give shit what I think , but IMO that's going a bit to far.

Picked up a Q today still the same as the last bit , does the job bit of a end taste, don't know what else to say about it, could be worse/could be better.
Illll give it 7 BLONDINS.

Re KKat, I thought she had to appear at Ipswich , but like Louie said just to enter her plea. Don't think shell be goin behind the door just yet.

^ yeah I know what you're saying, prices are allowed in EADD (something that has been fought for hard in the past by the mods as they aren't allowed elsewhere on BL) but the problem was at the height of the drought the heroin thread had too much covert sourcing etc going on so stricter rules were enforced.. I'm not for a second saying that was what Mandy was doing, obviously not, but that was the policy that was taken as otherwise the thread would have had to have been shut down and no one wanted that! But that rule is not set in stone, it was a measure taken to keep the thread from being closed at the time.. If the other mods are happy and no one takes the piss then we can go back to allowing non-bulk prices :)

Does that make sense? :)

No probs :) always happy to discuss things! Will speak to the others but we could see how allowing prices again goes.. still no bulk ofc as with elsewhere on EADD but that's mainly to protect people from incriminating themselves etc..

Is SO frustrating spending money on shit gear :( how long has this drought been going on for now? Have completely lost track hah..
 
Drought started About October 2010 ,About 2 weeks before my join date (for us)my mrs come across B/L one day and phoned me up at work all excited that she found the drought thread.
It was her that joined but iv long since poached it off her. It took me 6 months before I started looking around the rest EADD/BL , GLAD I DID.
 
Jesus, has it really been that long?? Madness.. Glad it led to people discovering BL though, silver lining I guess! Although not sure it is much compensation for a lot of people hah..

Venturing out of EADD took me a good year or so after I joined, hehe :D

Okay, we're going to allow prices for small amounts again as per the rest of EADD, but if people start taking the piss, sneakily sourcing/selling/buying/whatever we'll have to stop it again else we won't be able to keep the thread going, and it is a really useful thread for many people so we def don't want that! Hope that is okay :)
