If I was honest, im like the oldest raver in town. I am surprised by the age of my fellow bluelighters. I came from a chemical generation who was unaware of source and facts. These days, rings r run around me in everyway. Im still hanging on. Viva youth, lol us grandas need use! Llf

Well, im pushing 40, my son who is 14 is switched on, i think. Im not sure wat to do now.

At my age, with my history, i have to answer hard questions! Lol

I really don't think that 40 is pushing anything here mate, I would imagine that there are people far older than you on here mate, in EADD and indeed BL as a whole.

I do vaguely remember an age thread in EADD not so long ago but I can't find it right now, I have had a fair bit to drink though so if someone sober or just generally more able than me right now can let me know I'd be happy t merge the posts together and people can then chat of they want.
 
Unaware of the internet, us youngsters have access to alot more than you did. I still get asked reguarley in work by my 45 year old boss, "Can you get them speckled mitsiz, you know the ones", "me- erm a press generally changes each year theres shit load of bad mitsiz around atm, they dont stay the ... probalyl too long to explain", returned with a blank face, "So you cant get them from 98 or blah".. ramble

Sorry glitched, its through experiance from meeting people off this board, i draw my conclusions. I feel distant,and lost, cos im really old in comparisian. A good friend once said, we should have had youth much later in life so we would know wat to do! Lol. I was born from a chemical generation. I understand lol
 
Just turned 40 Op.. ;)

Also just bumped into a time vortex that is turning back time.. will be 35 by next friday and 25 by easter.. its a benjamin buttons thing.
 
40 is far from old, mate. I thought you were going to say you were like 70 - that would have been a better thread. Do this again, in thirty years.

No need to apologise at all mate. Personally I find it an interesting topic to find the average age of our fellow EADDers. I'm 25 and have only been this age for a few months (November). If you have met up with some BLers and they have all been younger than yourself then I suppose that it is a very easy assumption to make. It's strange though because my perception of people's ages when I first joined the board years ago under my old name, was that everyone was older than me.

Age isn't really something that i think about on this board anymore, i tend to think of people as knowledgeable or not as opposed to old or young. Perhaps this is why I thought people older than myself when I joined because everyone had more knowledge than me! I think that sometimes you can guess people's ages if you think about it from their posts but that's more of a spelling / grammar thing.

Does your age bother you Space Invader? If it does please don't let it, my perception on things, as I a sure that many on here would agree, is that regardless of age, colour, sex or religion if you want to take some drugs or have a race then I'll do it alongside you!

I liked 30 better than 20, and 40 better than 30.. :)
never figured I'd "mature", and thankfully seem to have mamaged to avoid it.. :)
@SpaceInvader - don't forget our generation and older created all the goodies that make life so bearable ..

I had my first acc when i was 13 8o

I also blame the internet for my drug use 8)

Remember fishface? I think he was the oldest eadder on the block 50-55ish. He was a lovely man, pity he doesn't pass by so often now.

Dope does something to the ageing process. Keith Richard used to tell a story about a Harlem kid who got a habit aged 10. When he was 18, he was arrested and thrown into The Tombs, where he went cold turkey and his voice broke. Dopers of all ages have the innocence of children - you must have noticed.

Over 60, I'm yet to go grey or, worse, bald. Throughout decades of perfect health, conventional folk have warned I won't last long on my drug regimen. But it's me who visits the poor suckers in hospital or attends their funerals. The pickled live longer and the stoned-immaculate find grace with the immortals. It's quite logical. Stress kills. You don't get uptight on good medicine. Don't do much else, either, but that's another story.
