Joint Rolling - European vs. American Methods

sure...I first tried them about 5 or 6 years ago.. I was using zigzag orange before that.. the hempire are a lot stronger.
 
I've found hempire papers to be real smooth but the glue isn't great and they tend to run. Similar to Elements except the elements burn a lot worse than hempires.

I like rizla blues or raw papers for smooth, thin papers, and Randy's for ease of rolling and novelty factor. Raw papers also tend to not burn as well, I find that to be the case with most non-conventional papers like raws, hempires and elements. I often end up with zig-zags (what I'm smoking as I type this), because most of the gas stations here only sell zig-zags. Only ever tried the orange zig-zags though, I'm thinking next time I'll get the white single wides. I'm not a huge zig-zag fan, they're kinda the most basic paper other than jobs, they're a bit papery but always burn well IME.

Hempires are definitely smooth and very sturdy though, they're excellent papers. Blue Rizlas are my current fave paper.
 
My favorite rolling papers are called Randy's rolling papers, and the come with a thin stainless steel wire that is embedded in the paper on the opposite side of, but parallel to the gumming. And the purpose of the wire is that it makes it super easy and efficient to roll as its got a rigid edge to tuck instead of plain paper. And on top of that, it burns slowly, evenly, and when it becomes what we in America like to call a roach, the unburned wire from in the paper that has been burned turns into a nice little roach clip as to smoke as much of the weed in it as possible.

If I do not have my wired rolling papers, any paper will do, but I prefer to roll a "prego" joint that is fairly small on both edges but is rather thick towards the middle section as to burn most of the weed in the prime of the joint instead of wasting more in the roach and when its lit.
 
My favorite papers are local to where i was living at the time called Humboldt Fire papers. And i have never been overseas or know anyone from there but i smoke spliffs more often than normal joints. I smoke roll your own cigs so just combining the 2 saves me so much time than rolling a cig and a joint.
 
All i know is MOST Canadians smoke their J's with 100% weed . And if they do put baccy in them, its 25% max.

Went to the UK not to long ago and its more like 70% baccy and 30% weed lol . And they call smoking pure weed in a joint a blunt . In Canada and USA a blunt is something totally different/better :P lol
 
Yeah it really pisses me off in the UK how its a bunch of fucking idiots making thin as fuck pure weed joints and calling them blunts then using strain names or things with no relevance to say they have good grass. There always like ive got kush, ive got this, ive got that. Who gives two shits its all orange haired shitty standard buds haha. Seriously, the UK sucks for grass. Being originally from the US makes the whole weed scene here seem pathetic, all the dealers are like 15 - 20 max and have no clue what they are doing. THey aren't even buying off of growers, just each other and making like 50p per bag they sell of shit weed.

Anyway back to the topic, sorry for that rant lol but weed in Scotland annoys the fuuuuuuck out of me. I lvoe the euopean way of rolling like 70/30 tobacco/weed sounds yummy right now. Theres something about it that does the trick while pure weed leaves me unsatisfied.

You need new scores then mate as when I can get grade its as good as the stuff in the dam and they are making alot more than 50p per bag.
 
amsterdam doesnt have shit on cali weed...hell, the weed we grow here in NM beats out most netherlands stuff...colorado and arizon have got it good too

Weed grown anywhere can be the best or the worst, its all down to the grower/conditions and genetics, not the fucking location of the grow.


People who name drop locations to big up their weed make me laugh!

Maybe he's implying that most of the more skilled growers are perfecting that craft illegally here in some of the US's pioneer MMJ states? California has amazing pot, but, then again, I'm under the impression that so does Amsterdam.

You see there's no reason to have to sacrifice and smoke paper because you know they make ULTRA THIN HEMP papers right? And you see the wonderful thing about HEMP papers is that well they're made of HEMP which is basically what your smoking anyways, rather than wood pulp which is what they use for regular CIGARETTE papers. So why the hell would you use regular papers that add the taste of paper when you can use HEMP papers and not destroy the taste of your bud, you can't roll a "fine joint" if you don't have the right supplies.

Oh and if paper ruins your buds taste you need to find a new guy cause that’s some weak shit your smoking. :D
