Random MSN Gibberings LXXV: This subforum can be so entertaining (allegedly)

It's not my do though (cheers for the birthday wishes though %)). If it was I'd be playing exactly what I want lol. 5 of us have booked the place, 3 boys 2 birds. Started as daft chat during a few wasted nights because our birthdays are all within a week of each other & we ended up shouting fuck it & just booking somewhere. So the tunes kind of have to cater for everyone's different mates to a certain extent. These are really just for the start of the night, got some techno & deep house mixes for later. No breakcore though, sorry ;)

I reckon you need a few more big poppy numbers to flesh it out. Things which are cool yet widely known like Talking Heads 'Once in A Lifetime', Only Ones 'Another Girl Another Planet', Buzzcocks 'Ever Fallen in Love..', Prince, well, actually sorry I'm just listing my favourite party tunes now, but not the Red Hot Chilli Peppers under any circumstances unless it's an actual frat party and you're chugging kegs on a shouty homoerotic tip.

I've not had a drink since Sunday (and that was only two beers), thanks for asking! I feel much brighter as a result. The milk thistle is definitely helping with that.

The etiz will probably just make the day pleasantly hazy if I keep the dose low and maintain my regular caffeine intake. They are very easy to fiend on though, I agree. I'd expect it'd be similar to straightforward benzos in the dependency stakes.

Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

So I didn't do the cleaning yesterday, hehe, ended up going to see a friend and having a good catch up then going to a Buddhism course at my local centre.. was wonderful, but it's quite advanced, got a lot of homework! Managed to meet a guy who I met at a meditation course 2 years ago, and who also missed the first session last week - we got talking and turns out he lost his partner recently too. Just when I was thinking I would never meet someone my age(ish) who understood.. restored a little bit of my faith in synchronicity, haha.. so going for a drink with him next week :)

In other news, did I say brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr?

edit: dunno where Mugz is but got a text from him yesterday so he's okay. I have started a Friday thread for him as he is apparently AWOL from BL..

Aw what a blessing Eff!!

Im not great at cleaning either eff. If I feel like I 'have' to do it my body starts refusing and goes into a walking through quicksand mode.. lol I dont know ifyou know what I mean?

Ive been on a creative buzz lately though so its all looking lovely but its default theme is chaos.

Morning all. I'm glad Mugz is OK, I was wondering where he'd got to.

I'm off to the doc in a sec to get my chest looked at (or more likely be bounced to somewhere where they can have a look). My girlfriend suggested last night that it's probably a roll up filter down there as it was something which was loose in my bag or pocket and those things get everywhere. It felt about right from my memory of it flying down my windpipe.

Hope all is well. And yes, YPDH, the etiz can be a bit moreish. I am starting to get far less euphoria/enjoyment from them and they just make me extremely tired, which might not be a bad thing.

Yellow love I know exactly what you mean, ugh.. once I get going I am fine, but it really does feel like wading through porridge getting my arse off the sofa and starting. Tis a shame as I have a gorgeous little flat, a lil shabby but with really high ceilings and skylights and full of my beautiful colourful clutter (and lots of fairy lights) - it deserves to be clean! Although creative chaos works well :D Will do it later when I get back from my meeting. Probably, hehe..

And yes, it really was a blessing going to that course, and meeting that guy.. :)

I'm so glad you've found somebody you can really relate to effie! It's really hard when you feel like nobody else can understand how your feeling. It really was a blessing going on that course!

It was! I almost chickened out too, I'm only just getting used to venturing into the outside world, hehe..

Well the doc sent me off for a chest x ray so that's what I'm waiting for at the moment. Luckily there aren't many in front of me. Camera up the nose sounds ok (I've had one in the bladder which was just excruciating). I worry it may come out covered in ethylphenidate though... Oops.
