Been on the healthy eating this week. Basically just eaten chicken, salad, stir fried veg and oatcakes all week. My salads have been huge portions of chicken, red onion, spring onion, tomato, cucumber, carrot, beetroot, sweetcorn, nbutter beans, rocket, spinach, red & yellow peppers, pickled onions with some olive oil and balsamic vinegar and then chicken and chinese style veg for dinner with some spices.

Tonight's offering does look a bit lacking, maybe some tinned marrowfat peas, or a pickled egg would just add the finishing touch, I'm not sure....possibly a tomato cut in half zig-zag style!

Dan, have you ever heard of vol-au-vents? (they're quite exotic) I think they might be the ideal platform on which to showcase your unique gastronomic style.

My healthy eating went to shit yesterday, lorne roll for breklky then Maccy Dees for lunch, quater pounder with cheese meal and 6 nuggets. Just had a lorne roll with broon sauce this morning, chilli later today.
 
I made an kimchi okonomiyaki earlier, was fuckign lush. They're so easy to make, could substitute the okonomiyaki sauce with a bit of bbq sauce I reckon.

Dan! Maybe a takeaway? ou know yourself, takeaway food, specially of this sort of calibre is rather lacking here in the south west.

had a cauliflower - potato - chickpea curry with boiled rice and green pea dahl for tonights dinner.

tomorrow going to cook a shoulder of lamb with roasted carrots-parsnips and red onions with mashed potatos
