Hello peoples, Hope your all well! My chemist is great pick up weekly jallop and vals, They put me on sugar free methadone but it tastes like shit and as I have had all my teeth pulled now anyway (shhh its a secret) I dont think it matters, anyways saw my doctor yesterday and said after oaning about a few other things--about the sugar free meth, straight away he said you want it back to normal, I said yeah please and as I went to explain he started saying how snce the sugar free switch many had felt that it didnt hold them, wasnt the same etc etc all phycological, but I swear he/they'd bend over bacwards until they fell over-I guess i'm just lucky-And good at getting what I want but I guess most addicts are! Be lucky! S x

The green ones means you are issued the prescription to take home with you, the blue ones mean it's for daily pick up, and to be supervised.

Not sure that's correct Cherry , mine's not daily or supervised but is still blue . My G.P prescriptions are green , my meth one has always been blue . As for chemists mine is a local co-op & the pharmacist is a really cool bloke, he'll always stay open that extra 10 mins just incase your running late. He even lets you run up a tab on your bill !

Picked up some new gear tonight very light in colour & in a nice big rock , all in all a real nice smoke . Things definatley seem to be improving as more dealers are getting proper gear . Lets hope it's here to stay & spreads over to our Irish friends .

They just beefed up security due to a few robberies, and I just so happen to live close to where 4 people were murdered in one robbery, and 2 in another. It is pretty shite for the many people that are getting them legitimately, and in all honesty, I believe that most of these places still carry it if you go in with a prescription. The pharmacists are told however, to say that they don't have any when answering any phone inquiries, and that goes for all pharmacies, not just the ones with the sign. I have a family member that is a legitimate pain patient, and he said he had called around everywhere and they were all out. I then told him to actually go into one of them with the paper prescription in hand, and sure enough they filled his prescription.

My Heroin Addiction has recently become public knowledge @ my place of work . Fortunatly my M.D & Operations Director have been extremely supportive & have offerered me any help i require. However the H&S representitive has decided that i am now unfit to do part of my job ( driving large machinary ) due to Methadone being a class A drug under the missuse of drugs act for the Health & Safety Executive.
I explained i am not miss-using it & infact Codeine is a class B drug under the same act , and how many people take that ! I have been doing my job for 6 yrs & have yet to have an accident, this apparantly doesn't matter !
They have asked me to sign a letter giving them permission to speak to my doctor regarding my addictions & whether he thinks i'm safe to carry on in my job.

As you can imagine i told them to Fuck off as obviously i am still using & don't want this to come out as they think i'm only on my meth script. Does anyone know what my position is & what rights do i have if any ?
 
Sorry to hear that Louie. I have no knowledge of the law in your area, so I cannot comment.

Do any of you use tagamet (cimetidine) to potentiate the opiate high? Don't get me wrong, I am more of a simple guy, and don't get involved with any RC's or any other non-traditional drugs, but I have noticed the high lasting significantly longer when I take 1 pill 30-45 minutes before doing my gear. I figured this may be useful to the folks that smoke their gear, as the high from the ROA rather short-lived, and cimetidine is good at extending the high. It is a common OTC ant-acid here, so I would assume so for the UK as well.

Most say that is doesn't increase the high, and only extends it, but I will say this; The last 3 times that I was too high to piss, was when I did gear after cimetidine.

Out of interest why do you think im passing things off that older people have supposedly told me? But yet it cant be from personnel experience, or knowledge? Is it my age?

Its a little bit annoying that you think it cant be stuff thats happened to me.

Never heard of any ant-acid extending the Heroin high, however what i have noticed is anytime i boot real good gear i always get real bad heatburn ! It's really strange as it only ever happens with proper gear ! Anyone else suffer this ?

Then you would be killing two birds with one stone!

The cimetidine works in the same way as white grapefruit juice. They occupy the liver so it can't eliminate the gear from you as fast as it normally would. The same liver enzymes that break down gear, also break down the cimetidine, so there you have it.

LOu i had to give up my licsense when i was put on D.L.A mid care the reason being
I was geting prescribed drugs that would impair my reactions - benzos/m,ethdone.

Wish i had the lower care n the higher mobility , you can get a free car then but such is life.
At least i get a few £ rather than £57 or whatever the govt. thinks you can live on , i mean kin ell that would leve me with about £10 a week for everything food included.
