I was always going to see my key worker. But you have given me good 'ground' work! <3

Iv been on the list for 'possible' homelessness for a while. Which I dont think is that high up.... but im sure it helps!

Im just going find out all the options hopefully on the 29th then from there make a decision.... keep you updated.....
 
Been pondering, is there any chance what so ever of getting a script if you aren't even using opiates, lol ? Sorry if this is stupid as fuck, but i've never had a script. I just rinse the gear and love it, rattle with some street sub/meth. Rinse repeat. I've currently gone just over a week I think without gear and i'm going batshit insane, severe anxiety, nervous wreck and its doing my head in. And i'd love abit of stability a script would give me.

So basically, would I have to start using again to get a script ? Which is prolly looking likely if I can escape parental prison, ha.

You would need to give a dirty test befor you could get a script, there's no way a drug team would sort you out without any opiates in ya.
 
Aye I thought that might be the case. I just can never be fucking arsed when using cause I always have the money to use so never really need to script y'know.

Alot of us have the cash but sometimes you cant score thats why most have a script - its the most enabling substance, its what allows me to chip a week or more at a time then back to my stash of phy pills
 
Hmm that does make a fair bit of sense when you put it like that. Probably try get myself on a script in the new year cause so far still not used in over 10 days.

BUT, does it make me a bad person for thinking about using the excuse of going to an NA meeting to go score instead just so I can get out of sight of the parents, ha :|.

ah i thought i wasnt the only one.

oh and daily pick up is bit of pain....

esp if your Dr / drug worker says you cant miss a certain amount..... or that you have to attend the nurse who deals with your prescription... its not just bam here take your meth in some parts..... it can be a right pain. SO folks dont abuse the system.

this is true..initially you will not just be on daily pick up,but supervised too
so you have to take it in front of the pharmacist
maybe worse-out clinic has a dispensary-so when you start your script you have to go there every day and if you drink,you will be breathalysed before they will give you anything
basically,if you aren't going to imminently rattle if you can't afford to score or can't get real gear,you probably can't be arsed with all the hoops you will have to jump through to get started on a script
 
A LOT depends also on the how safe the pharmacist, my one supervised for a week, and he said only to make sure I remembered to let the subbie dissolve on my tounge..... then it was daily pick up but he was gave them to me, always loose though for some reason!!!!

but iv heard about some who if your on daily pick up will make you sit down for 5 mins for the subutex to dissolve.....

maybe see what hoops you have to jump through? you can always just stop after day one.
 
If people think that going to the chemist everyday , and hanging around in a private room for 5/10 mins is worse than all the all the old bollocks that goes using everyday.... Thier fucking crackerjack !
I was so in trouble , worn out and sick of my lifestyle when I got my script , I cried with relief.
If it's a toss up between grafting 24/7 and popping up the chemist for 10 mins , well it's a no brainer.
 
but i get the sense croxide aint fully addicted.... only chipping... so we are saying why it MIGHT be pain in the arse for him.

also we are actually more saying, you basically gotta take this stuff for at least a week in front of pharmacist. SO more importantly if you are chipping do you really want to get a methadone habit?

I used to have to walk 3 miles every day to get my script as there was no local pharmacy but I still considered it to be better than having to support a daily habit
 
I remember some time back us all discussing what kind of tinfoil we like best. My favorite is tesco's own brand tinfoil, the one that comes with-out a box, its just a roll of tinfoil wrapped in clear plastic. I like it coz its a thin foil & it works well, & its the cheapest!

Well tesco have changed their tinfoil & now its even better!!! Its still a nice thin foil, but what ever way they have changed it it now hardly makes any of that tinfoil rustling noise anymore! I have two grown up kids (21 & 17) they both still live at home but neither of them have a clue that my boyfriend & i use heroin! We have gone to great lengths over the years to hide our habit from them.

We only use when they are either out of the house or when they are in bed. When we use when they are in bed we take all sorts of extra precautions to make sure that they can't walk in on us & catch us having a smoke. The only problem we ever had was the clicking of lighters & the dreaded rustling of the tinfoil!

So we always brake the flint in out lighters & then we use a candle to light the lighter, so that gets rid of the constant clicking noise! But the rustling foil was always a problem, its near impossible to not make noise with tinfoil! That is until this new quite Tesco tinfoil came along! Its weird stuff, its kind'a floppy! But it makes little or no noise!

So anyone who has to keep it quite when they are having a smoke should get a bit of this rustle free tinfoil! As i said its really cheap, its about €1.10 or maybe less, its just a roll of foil wrapped in clear plastic, so you can see the roll of foil & check its not all creased before you buy it! It perfect in every way! The only thing wrong with it is that its Tesco brand, coz Tesco are scum bags! But i'm still gonna buy their tinfoil coz it keeps me out'a trouble with the kids!!! :)

Does anyone else have problems hiding their heroin use from kids/family/ect?

This is the same foil we use , tesco wrapping foil , hate using anything else specially thick stuff.
I have the same sort of problem smoking at home , got a 6 year old and she gets more aware and curious by the day , we only smoke in our bedroom and try to wait till she goes to bed , but obviously we need to smoke in the day and now were all at home for the holidays it's a fucking nightmare.
We only smoke cigs when we have a toot so that's been our excuse for a out. But we don't even want her thinking we smoke them so it's all a pain in the arse.
Iv got a shed/workshop/ smoking den with my beer fridge and tv and sofa in but she loves coming out there with me , I don't have the hart to to knock her back, she loves driving around shotgun in me van with me so can't do that one
 
And aye, there really is no point in me even going to try get a script. I'm actually feeling pretty good without gear atm on 11/12 days now. I just haven't slept in that period of time. So craving sleep more then any heroin. Going doctor today to try score some sleepers or some shizzle. Fingers crossed.

People really have tin foil preferences.. ? As long as it aint that greased tin foil. LOL. Dumb bitch I was with who ripped me off once got some put her gear on and it fucked up and lost it all. I lol'd endlessly.
 
I also use the Tesco tin foil. Can't beat it in my book. Plus it's the only item I know in Tescos that I know where to find immediately without having to look around the whole bloody store.

Aw your daughter sounds like a little princess! :) The lengths we go to to keep our kids out of this world! It would kill me if my kids ever used heroin! So they will never ever see us using!

There is a couple i know that smoke in front of their kids :( I remember scoring off them once & they told me to come over to their house to get it, this way before i was on methadone & i was dieing sick. They brought us in & weighed out the gear in front of us & in-front of their 2 kids (ages 6 & 3) :(

Then they ripped off foil & started smoking & chatting, my boyfriend & i were stunned! They knew that i was sick & they told me to go ahead & have a smoke, but i just couldn't in-front of their kids! I told them that i couldn't use in-front of the kids & the Mother (i use that word loosely!) joked that the older girl had been in school last week & the teacher was teaching them about the danger of smoking cigarettes, when their daughter stood up in class & said 'my Ma & Da smoke off tinfoil' they thought this was an hilarious story! I think they were pissed off we didn't laugh!

We left soon after that, i was still dieing! We had a long drive home, but i just couldn't have smoked in-front of those kids, poor little pets, what chance do they have?
 
my kids almost walked in on me a few times over the years and prob saw paraphernalia lying around but I definitely never let them see me using
I recently told my daughter that I had used in the past and I assume my son knows because they are really close
Whether they know I use now or not?I hope not
they know I seem to have to go to the pharmacy every day
 
How old are your children? Mine are grown ups now 24 and 22, both have had something to say about my drug use.
