Hydrocodone help

I have about eight pills of 5mg/325mg hydrocodone pills (vicodin) that expired in January of 2010, according to the packaging. Would it still be okay to take these for a high? Also, for a first time user, how many should I take for a good, solid high? And should I crush them up and put them in water? Thanks in advance!

Also, the pills say "Watson" on one side, and "3202" on the other. They are white with red speckles. Again, the "expiration" date was supposedly almost two years ago, January 2010. Thanks!
 
Yes they are safe to ingest.

They may not be as potent as they once were, but I'm pretty confident they will work just fine. If you plan on taking more than two of these in a 24 hour period I would highly suggest doing a cold water extraction, detailed in the highlighted link.

Drugs don't go bad in the sense that food does, they just lose potency over time.

As far as I'm aware, expiration dates on pills simply means when they start to slowly degrade in potency. I'm not 100% on that though. But I have taken tramadol from 2002 and it worked fine, no problems whatsoever.

Also, if it is you're first time, start with one, wait 25 minutes and if you don't feel it take another. It's better to start small. You can always add more if you feel the need, but if you take too much at once you'll just get very sick.

P.S. You don't need to bother doing a CWE, honestly. One of those pills is equivalent to an extra strength acetaminophen pill, it's no big deal really. Just be aware of how much Acetaminophen you are ingesting in total.
 
Great! I'll take two then. Should I crush them up and put the powder in a little water first?

Also, smoking a cigarette wouldn't do any harm while I'm high, would it?
 
Don't crush them, simply swallow with water. And no, a cigarette will not take away the high. Unless you don't normally smoke.
 
Really? I've read that crushing them gives you a quicker onset.

I normally smoke one to two per day, so I should be fine.
 
Haha no, I smoke one or two cigarettes per day. Sorry for the confusion.

In regards to the hydrocodone, I shouldn't crush it? I heard crushing it gives a quicker onset and a stronger high.
 
Oh, haha. I got concerned for a minute.

I wouldn't crush them. It may give a faster rush, but with only 10mg of Hydrocodone, it's not gonna make a noticeable difference really. Since it's you're first time, simply swallow them. This will allow them to absorb at a normal rate and will be a nice mellow kind of high. Smoke a few bowls of some nice chronic, and you're set for the night.
 
Ha. I wish I had some chronic. Only reason I'm taking these is because I don't and I actually found them while looking for weed! I'll take the two now and update this when I feel something.
 
I'd advise waiting till you have weed to take them. But perhaps maybe it's better to only take 2 minus weed, so you know what kind of high it produces on its own. Then after you understand the high, you can smoke on top of it.

Either way, enjoy. And space you're doses. Opiates are very addictive, many of us here have been through addictions with Opiates and I can personally say it's not fun at all. Be safe, be smart. Any questions, feel free to ask.
 
Thanks so much for the advice. I just took two, back-to-back, about five minutes ago. How long do you think it will be before I start feeling anything? I also don't anticipate taking any more in the future, as I will have weed again tomorrow.

And if I don't feel anything, should I take a third?
 
IF you don't have a tolerance, you'll feel something.

But yes, it would be safe to take three (15mg hydrocodone), I wouldn't recommend it for a first timer at all, though.
 
You'll feel something. In fact, I'd bet you're already starting to feel a little something. Perhaps subtle, but something.
 
It seems to be an EXTREMELY subtle feeling (maybe a placebo) and it has been 20 minutes. If I weren't looking for it, I most likely wouldn't feel anything. When should I be feeling it noticeably?
 
Okay, it has been 30-35, and I feel essentially nothing. I have a very high tolerance to weed an alcohol, so I'm feeling like I might have a high tolerance to these. Could I take a third now?
 
Depends on some minor variables but I'd say in about a half hour you should feel something for sure- if not earlier.

Just saw your recent post... man so it has BEEN over thirty. Just wait a lil more. Update at 45 mins. Do you have any tolerance at all?
 
Tolerance to weed and alcohol has nothing to do with opiate tolerance. It's like saying "I know how to drive a car, therefore, I know how to fly a helicopter."

Give it a solid 90 minutes before thinking about redosing. :)
