So long story short last night was my first night without drinking in a long while so my buddy gave me 1.5mg of clonazepam, got myself a large coffee, and we hit the bowl a bit to help me ease out of it. (I'm not a serious alcoholic but I drink every evening and I'm stopping before its getting worse, I'm getting some drug counseling and all that jazz.)
I took the clonazepam at around 5:30pm and smoked some weed at around 6, went out for dinner with some other friends, was feeling pretty loopy until 11-12, took 150mg of the 225 of effexor I'm regularly prescribed (I can't tell you why I did this, I usually take it in the morning) then went to bed and didn't feel tired at all. I laid awake in bed until 3am when I decided I wasn't going to get any sleep and I got up and have been studying since then. I had an energy drink that I drank slowly to up my concentration and I'm about to have another one.
Here's the kicker: It's now 6am, I've been up for 24 hours straight now, I have a relatively clear mind, only feel slightly tired, and not nearly ready for bed. I do clonazapem recreationaly from time to to time and it usually makes me tired after a while. I'm very suspicious because when I take it in the evening I'm always ready for bed. I'm a guy who needs his sleep and stuff and I can't figure out how I'm so chipper... all in all this is a good thing and I'll be able to get all the work I need to get done today even if I have to take a nap, but does anyone have an inkling as to why this is happening?
