The rave sucks. Sound system is shit, saw that show n was disappointed (I fuckin love PL too)

Skrillex was surprisingly good in chicago recently, he didn't fuck up once! Lol n his new stage setup is fuckin sick.

Ppl hate on Skrillex for helping bring dubstep / EDM to popular culture, I say thanks! I get more good shows now coming to town
 
I will agree he brought the scene into light, but thats also why i hate him, having all the "bros" at these shows totally ruins the crowd, i heard excision sucked at the rave as well, too many bros out there trying to be a tough guy. This is exactly why i stopped going to rock shows, because everyone wanted to be the badass, and now the same thing is happening to dubstep. PLURR is the way it needs to be and no one respects that. Now you got all these kids who used to listen to rap and think they are "hard" suddenly get into dubstep because dubstep is pretty much the backround for all new songs coming out.

As for the sound at the rave, its all based on the shape of the building, my friends do all the sound for the rave and they has speakers that will blow any venue in wisco out of the water...they use MAYBE a 1/4 of their equipt. to do the shows at the rave.
 
That's y dubstep is gay. Hard house is where its at!! :) happy thanksgiving everybody Tom night I will b fucked up beyond recognition! My eyes better wiggle so much they pop out my head speaking of which if anybody finds a set of eyeballs Tom night please contact me as they will b mine :)
 
Not gunna lie, i do enjoy jamming to some dubstep to get the night all "hyphe" as e-40 would put it best. But thats only to get the ball rolling hehehe, Trance/Progressive/House/Electro anything to run the night other than full on dubstep!

Yeah the shape of the venue sucks balls causing the sound to... Sound horrible. the acoustics suck. Oh and having the air conditioning on in a packed venue on the top floor on an 85 degree night woulda been pretty cool too lol

Saying it blows any venue in wisconsin out of the water is like being the best shitty bar. Wisconsin isn't really known for having great nightlife or theatres

Hell, u guys give tickets away cause u can't pack a venue a third the size of the congress

Sorry I'm being bitter lol, but I just am a little spoiled w some of the chicago venues. Acoustics and sound are outta this world, even rusko said something live, tweeted and fb'd about the sound quality and equipment at the congress.

I also am an A/C snob and while rolling its not pleasant to be hella sweaty w no relief at an electronic show

^^mdma powder (who calls it that?) can't be branded in the way that mints have been. i can look at a pill and tell if its a legit mint or not, yeah just by looking at it. if somebody at a show gives me a capsule or a baggie of "mdma powder" it could be pure mdma it could be cocaine it could be baking soda. to make sure id have to take a taste but even still can't be sure, so id just have to take some--it's more like gambling unless you're getting it from a trusted source. but some guy walking around a party or whatever is definitely not a trusted source UNLESS the guy shows me he has mints then i know for sure he's slinging quality shit. that's why everyone's not just buying "mdma powder" and being done with it. sounds like you've never tried a mint, so why don't you find one, pop it and then be done with your silly comments...

lol no argument on the rave sucking... even when i go there for metal shows it still sucks lol

Snorted a few times - hits u hella fast n like a truck, short intense peak, fast n easy come down: do this to pick up ur high right about when you peak or right off the bat. Two times I did this while coming down to bring high back and I just blacked out

Yeah like forgetting the night - everyone always says I looked fine and was having a great time but it's not worth it cause I waste a mint or half mint cause I personally don't remember.

They're always like "you were laughing and everyone was asking for lightshows and u gave a killer show to friend xyz!"

Next time they better record it! Lol

yeah I'm almsot postive that they are the Ys but just fuxking shit makes me
not wanna take them cuz I know theyre less cuz the tops have been ripped off (tsk tskk)

and I heard from
friends that the pinks are better than the blues but I haven't talked to someone who has only
taken a blue they all either took half a blue or took pink and blue
