"the purpose of life is to hydrogenate carbon dioxide"

Like that quote; hydrogenating was a word that came up in my vocab last night believe it or not.

"Our greatest foes, and whom we must chiefly
combat, are within." ~Miguel de Cervantes Saavedra

"Half our life is spent trying to find something to do with the time we have rushed through life trying to save." ~Will Rogers

Q: whats the meaning of life???
A:" Life =the condition that distinguishes organisms from inorganic objects and dead organisms, being manifested by growth through metabolism, reproduction, and the power of adaptation to environment through changes originating internally, and ending in death"
Right outta the dictionary, so whats the big deal on the meaning of life?
My quote and question.

“Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don't matter, and those who matter don't mind.”
― Dr. Seuss

"Anti-Shark cage.
Anti-shark cage. You go inside the cage?

Cage goes in the water, you go in the water. Shark's in the water. Our shark "
i have always used this quote for life i guess. Cuz if you get out of that cage, life itself can be a shark and can get you if you lose your cool. if you keep your cool chances are the shark will not get ya. idk....

Good quote. Then I wonder if drug addicts or people that "drop out of society" so to speak would be inside the shark cage. And when you come off drugs or decide to face life again I guess like you say you're living outside the cage.

Kinda what I'm trying to do now. But instead of using the key in my pocket to open the cage I'm filing the bars off one by one and slowly easing by body out inch by inch. At least thats how I feel. By next feb/march I'm planning on being outside the cage totally. Off drugs, and completely immersed into life again. This time I will have a wire mesh suit though. My health from eating right and working out. See how it goes I guess.

"Ecstasy is hard to describe. It’s like falling softly into a pool of crystal mountain water, floating on your back circular beneath vibrant sky, deciphering codes in the clouds spinning dizzy fast. It isn’t at all like going clear out of your head lunatic mad, throwing yourself in front of a runaway train insane, hallucinating black widows and black helicopters behind you crazy. It’s a lot more like jumping into your own brain, ferreting what’s inside, accepting past failures, freeing self destructive demons, forgiving yourself and those you love and even those you despise." -Crank, by Ellen Hopkins

I would answer with my above quote:

"The reasonable man adapts himself to the world; the unreasonable man persists in trying to adapt the world to himself. Therefore all progress depends on the unreasonable man." ~George Bernard Shaw

The meaning of life is to progress while remaining unique.

"Wise men are instructed by reason; men of less understanding, by experience; the most ignorant, by necessity; the beasts, by nature." ~Marcus Tullius Cicero

"Before you can control conditions, you must first control yourself." ~Napoleon Hill

- Francis Bacon

“People can't seem to get it through their heads that there is never any healing or closure. Ever. There is only a short pause before the next "horrifying" event. People forget there is such a thing as memory, and that when a wound "heals" it leaves a permanent scar that never goes away, but merely fades a little. What really ought to be said after one of these so-called tragedies is, "Let the scarring begin".”
George Carlin.

"You never see a positive drug story on the news. They always have the same LSD story. You've all seen it: "Today a young man on acid … thought he could fly … jumped out of a building … what a tragedy!" What a dick. He's an idiot. If he thought he could fly, why didn't he take off from the ground first? Check it out? You don't see geese lined up to catch elevators to fly south; they fly from the fucking ground. He's an idiot. He's dead. Good! We lost a moron? Fucking celebrate. There's one less moron in the world.
Wouldn't you like to see a positive LSD story on the news? To base your decision on information rather than scare tactics and superstition? Perhaps? Wouldn't that be interesting? Just for once?
"Today, a young man on acid realized that all matter is merely energy condensed to a slow vibration – that we are all one consciousness experiencing itself subjectively. There's no such thing as death, life is only a dream, and we're the imagination of ourselves. Here's Tom with the weather." bill hicks...
