[MEGA] Vaporizers Thread

after the vape is heated, hit it like a straw, slower but strong and constant.

I personally am not a drug user anymore but have seen one of mates horrible battle with Cannabis Hyperemesis exacerbated by the use of the digital Volcano. He has used Cannabis for over 20 years.

He uses bags so a whip isn't the problem. The problem is that the inside of his gut has been changed by continued overuse of the vape resulting in the Hyperemesis. He can't get through a day without antacids and goes to hospital regularly with "unexplained" vomiting. Of course if he quits using for a month it all goes away.

I observed that he would have slight symptoms of this over the last 18 years using a bong but since he switched to the Volcano 2 years ago the condition has become dramatically worse.

We could really do with a Cannabis Hyperemesis support thread here on CD. I don't know about North America but here in Australia it is an issue with heavy users, some don't even know they have it.

Great idea, i know alot of people who have never heard about this until i told them, even then being skeptical.

I do this, the vape I use the magic flight launch box works fine with the tube that came with it but it also works fine without it. I just inhale it like you sort of do when you sip hot tea or coffee.

You can always attach the whip end of the vaporizer to a bong and put some water or ice in the bong and inhale the vapor that way. I've never done this but I've seen people do it in pics and in videos with all types of vapes from the magic flight launch box, to a desktop vape like the buddha or silver surfer brands.

Verybuffed No I've never gotten acid reflux from using a vape or even from when I was smoking herb or even tobacco daily.

I've put the whip in a bong on a few different occasions, but each time it just seems like more work for less or nothin more. I smoke my vape everyday about 2-4 times a day, and only certain days my stomach feels upset, but taking smaller hits toward the last half of the bowl really seems to help...
 
Vaporizing Thai / Brick / Swag / Low THC % Bud

Don't normally post in this area but hoping I can get some decent and more specific responses. Likewise I didnt post in the vape mega thread as this is more about how productive it is rather than what to buy.

Recently I've been looking into buying a Magic Flight Launch Box for vaping, however to make things more economical I often just smoke Thai stick weed. This stuff doesn't look great, has the odd seeds and stems but has a lovely uplifting satvia high and so for day to day smoking its my bud of choice. I'm aware that this bud doesn't have the same % of thc in weight comparison to some better strains out there, but does anyone have any idea on how this stuff would fare vaping. Specifically with a Magic Flight Launch Box if anyone has any experience. I'm looking for actual experiences rather than suspicions I'm confident it would work but I want to see how effective it is before splashing out on the MFLB.

I've included brick/swag/etc too as to be honest they are fairly similar in thc % even if not in appearance so hopefully it gets a better response.
 
Vaporizers usually deliver 90% of the THC in any given cannabis. They don't deliver much if any CBD. You might want to keep this in mind, CBD contributes to the heavy drowsy/stoning effect you get, and if you smoke for sleep or anxiety it could be less effective. I also find myself smoking more from a vaporizer than I do from a pipe or a bong or with hash if I'm smoking throughout the day instead of in sessions, though this varies strain to strain. It's much easier to "smoke yourself sober" though. You get to a floaty point where you aren't quite sure if you're high or not, so you keep on vaping.

You'll get "better" results if you put a sativa in a vape, and better results with indica if you put it in a bowl, in general you'll conserve a little more and get higher easier by switching up strains and mixing up vaping and smoking.

I would say it's worth dropping the cash on a vape right now whether you prefer indica or sativa, because it will pay for itself in good time regardless.
 
Never seen thai but I smoke a lot of schwag and have vaporized it many times. As the dude above said, vaporizers don't provide much CBD and thus lack a lot of the heavy, tired, body high. Vaporizing schwag has seemed to me to make the schwag closer to mids or chronic, because it lacks the unusually high CBD content of a lot of schwag. The vape evens out the quality a bit IME. Still prefer bongs and blunts myself but vaporizing schwag is pleasant and if you usually don't like schwag it'll make it much more tolerable.

I've never tried the vape you're talking about, I've only tried it out of box vapes with a whip (and I've never tried a brand name vape). The schwag vapes fine. If I had a vaporizer I'd use it mostly on schwag and smoke chronic out of my pipes to get a more well rounded high, but I'm not really a fan of vaporizers. I think mids and schwag are ideal for vapes.

That's not true.

What Vapouriser are you using?

The boiling point of THC is 157 degrees celsius and the boiling point of CBD is anywhere between 180-200 degrees celsius depending on the strain. Use a Digital Volcano and you won't have any trouble isolating the THC then the CBD from your Cannabis.
 
I use a Silver Surfer. It's a whip vape, not a bag. By the time my bud heats up and the THC is gone, it's usually pretty spent. Maybe if I maxed out the temp I would get a little more CBD...but I would be blackening the bud with the vape at anything near 200c, which according to google is about 400F. Why not just smoke? It's quicker, easier, and more effective.

The majority of the high is from THC when you vaporize.
 
Man I smoked out of a volcano and there fucking awesome. I just cant afford to put enough money together to get one right now.What's more affordable then the volcano that also has the bag that fills up?
 
I was looking at this unique vaporizer piece which was ideal for vaporizing extracts, and this piece is built to go into a bong. There are two versions, one for glass on glass (what I'd get) and one for classic bongs with the rubber ring(s).

Anyone have any experience? Worth the money? Easy enough to use?
 
If you use oil a lot, and have a decent bong that will support that usual 18-ring sized joint for the glass-on-glass vape screens, I'd totally recommend it. I believe you're talking about the extract vape bong attachments that look a lot like pre-coolers to the untrained eye?

They are very worth the money if you smoke oils or hash as much as you do cannabis. You can also use it for many other vap-able drugs.

I have a bong made for oil smoking. there is a picture on the forum somewhere.

it has a titanium swing arm that you heat with a torch then drop oil on it.

it is the best investment I ever made.
it makes oil taste great, is easy on the lungs and gets you high (efficiency lol).
 
I'm planning on getting a VaporGenie, but I'm wondering, how does the high compare to normally smoking or other vapes? Obviously it's no volcano vape, but I'm wondering if the high is still really "killer" like it is on vapes.
 
I'm looking for the cheapest vape that can fill a bag like volcanos do. Any suggestions?
 
Vapurisers (how do you know when all the thc is gone)

I just bought a vapour geinie vapourising pipe works well and its cheap too but the only thing i cant figure out is how do we know all the good stuff is gone. It just feel like breathing air

i just bought a vapurgenie the high is about the same as smoking cone but the stuff that is left over still get me stone again after smoking it in the bong the down side is I dont know when all the good stuff is gone
