I'll try Sam =D Nah seriously, it's going to be really fucking hard and I may end up having the one sip to just steady my nerves somewhat, but I can't go on like this or I'll end up in an ICU :(

Seeing as I'm now in an ex-relationship scenario, now seems like the perfect time to increase my pitiful posting rate since I joined 12 months ago.

Tonight, some cheap brandy, a couple of etzolam, a dab of MXE. Then hopefully, a cheeky look at the aforementioned Meteor shower. The skies of the midlands are clear all the way.

Sounds like a potentially-sedating combo but if you know your limits then all's well I suppose. It's just knowing your limits. If you're in a state to see the meteor shower that's fair going.

Though I must say, you should save on food and splash out a bit on brandy. You deserve more than cheap brandy I'm sure. :)

Well when I say cheap brandy, I'm talking £16-17 for a 750ml. Middle-range really, nothing too horrific! Could still afford a steak to go with it :D

Yeah, it's fairly sedating, but I've not gone overboard, I'm comfortable with the combo. Also, as a long time observer Sam, I've got to say, you remind me of the future me.

Well that's not too bad at all! As long as you're not chugging Prince Consort or something.

If you know the combo then all should be okay. Forgetting you've taken benzos (which I know etizolam isn't strictly, but still) tends to be my problem. Especially with alprazolam, but I'm banned from that.
 
Lord no, Budgens finest v.s.o.p (being the country bumpkin I am).

Learnt my etizolam lesson after necking 5 1mgs before a 4-can K cider episode. One minute I'm on the sofa, next, I'm having an extremely difficult pint with my dad.

Superb.

It has been painless this week at work, had such a piss easy week where I've done fuck all work and no one has noticed. Have taken 3 calls all week. Mate bought me a Stone Roses ticket this morning. After spending so much money last weekend I'm determined to spend next to nothing this one so I 'm going to stay in with a few beers and get my saving fund bumped up. I want out of here by January! Today I've eaten crisps and biscuits for breakfast, 2 haggis sausage rolls for lunch and then half a kebab and a chinese for tea. Feel like an unhealthy fast bastard so going to eat healthy and do something active (possibly) too.

Been there, except with acid. My poor dad was so codeine, booze and zolpidemed out of his mind (all on prescription) that he couldn't tell the difference.

Me and the ex have decided to carry on living in the house we previously shared until the contract ends in 6 months, seeing as the relationship ended in an amicable manner. It's fine now, but I forsee some serious troubles a la future... Glad to have some time alone tonight though and just relax for the first time in weeks. Sure this is hardly the place to be spelling all this shit out mind.

With that in mind:

Spade: you sound like my pal, fucking living off biscuits for brekkie etc. Fuck that, eggs eggs eggs tomorrow morning.

And a washing machine delivered. Fucking Argos "We'll be with you between 7:30 and 8:30". Ta me owd, wrestle me from my slumber :|
 
I'm usually a fairly decent eater. I'll have some cereal and OJ for breakfast, an apple for a snack on my break, big bowl of homemade soup for lunch and maybe a wrap with cold meat and salad then a decent home cooked tea. Today was a write off. Running late for work, nothing in the house bar biscuits and crisps, starving and needed to eat. Didn't have time to make lunch before leaving, nothing in the fridge for tea and I get offered a half eaten kebab then some left over chinese, couldn't resist.

Again, I know the feeling too well. It's a shitty one. Can't begrudge you a drop of brandy.

Especially not if you have a friend like Spadey. Fuck no...
