It's a cracker mate right up your street. No time for a film tonight but watched a few episodes of The Walking Dead earlier. Need a few fresh films to download really, checked my hard drive today and there's about 100 absolutely epic movies on there now %)

what you reckon of The walking dead?

another film i gotta recommend... V for Vendetta. amazing film

My mate recommended I watch "Scum" before, british film so thought id give it a shot, I thought it was a pretty good film, apart from the greenhouse scene, put me right of my dinner

It seems good and I'm gonna continue watching the rest of series 1 anyway. It's not as good as Breaking Bad, Dexter or True Blood though.

V for Vendetta is alright I wouldn't say amazing mate!

I thought walking dead had a lot of potential but didnt deliver.I find the American soppy stuff annoying also.I might give season 2 a go though. What do ye make of the film drive ? I enjoyed it up to a point.the music was a bit over powering at times even though Im a fan of his sound.I found it weird that de did the soundtrack to traffic and used Brian Eno an ending (ascent) throughout that film and also throughout drive.Change the record bud !

V for Vendetta makes my top 10
It makes me cry every 20 minutes throughout. perfect entertainment and ideology close to my heart [cheers Mr Moore].
V is my fave comic book anti-hero without a doubt

the new Dexter is gonna go rapidly down hill this season. 1st ep of 6 was ok, and lawl at McHammer, but the whole season looks like its gonna be mainly about Dex v's God/Religion, and in theory, that sounds promising, but the new Godsquad pair of Psycho's are insanely dull and I'm not attached to them like I instantly was with John Lithgow, who owned at being a Nutjob. Ep 2 was pretty dull

I liked Drive. Thought the soundtrack was decent, the weird covers were good. At times the score could be a bit much though, too much stabby keys. It definitely should have had more driving in it. The short car chase at the start was a belter & what I was expecting most of the film to be. Especially as it started off with him picking up his souped up Impala.

I saw it at a proper cinema when it got released about 10 years ago ... so neer neer ner ner ner

and Ive got it on dvd

bit disappointed that there wasn't enough hate in it though, for a film titled 'hate' ;p

lol you build a time machine and try and get a 13 year old boy to watch a foreign language film :D I'm glad I left it til I was much older, I wouldn't have appreciated it nearly as much.

Downloading La Haine now, looks decent. Anyone got any other gangster/ghetto/underground type films for me while I'm at it?

check out Gaspar Noe's filmography. but not when youre feeling depressed/suicidal

his last one that I saw was a kinda streamiing consciousness trip with a guy on dxm [think, cant remember] going out in a town in france. this one... edit, t'was japan not france so the blurb says

its hard not to relate

I stand alone, one of his older ones is pretty awesome

edit to add links

^ Hero! That's exactly the kind of film I want for my dissociative viewing this weekend :)

EDIT: Except I can't find anywhere to download a copy that works

dissociative viewing i recommend Taken, kept having to ask my friends whether somone had stolen my identity rather than Liam Neeson's.
