Just some high speculation. I'm not making an entire thread for this because I don't want to waste forum space if I sober up and realise this is a ridiculous idea haha.
Well as some of you know, one of Paracetamol's metabolites is AM404. AM404 produces similar analgesia to extremely small amounts of THC, this is because it's a Cannabinoid reuptake inhibitor. Studies have only look at it's ability to stop the reuptake of the endocannabinoid Anandamide, but I'd suspect that it would have a similar effect on other Cannabinoids. Would this not mean that Paracetamol should in theory potentiate Cannabis? Not suggesting it as an idea, since we all know Paracetamol is highly hepatotoxic - but I just started reading and it got me interested, so I was wondering if any of the chemistry geeks here could offer their thoughts/opinions. Edit: Having said that, I'm starting to think my idea is ridiculous since surely reuptake inhibition is only for endogenous chemicals?
Annnnd, on a more social note. How's everyone today?
