Would it be feasible to legalise snorting cocaine only?

I read a book called SHOULD ALL DRUGS BE LEGALIZED and it's a great read.

There is a model already out there that could work for selling the drug xtc on a licenced premise..such as a night club, and it would mirror how alcohol is currently done there but, crucially, the club WOULD NOT SELL ALCOHOL ( only soft drinks)

i.e. the club would sell xtc pills once you are inside. Your only allowed one at a time and you are not served if you look intoxicated or out of it.

Chill out rooms and access to water would be plenty.

Medical staff given extra training about effects of MDMA. Entry would be really strictly age checked to make sure over 18 or 21 so no fake id rubbish. You also don't get in if you're drunk.
 
I like the idea of an alcohol free E-club.

however greed and desperation will allow you to get as many pills as you want. One right? than a friend grabs you one, than your girl grabs you one, than you decide ill buy you a roll if you go grab em "im cut off". If you could keep it to one person moving e in the club it COULD FEASIBLY work. And you know what I never have..... Solutions. So I like wher your mind is at.

If there is only one person supplying the club you could grab a few random samples and reagent test em to make sure it was the real real.

I really like this thought new2drugs. No idea how youd pull it off but id attend!

The drug would be from the pharmacy not the street, so the pill would be fine and not require testing. ( Legal in the club).

Of course you could get round the one pill amount by joining the back of the queue but they could also stamp your hand with the time as you buy it..they know how long it's been since your last one, plus they will remember faces.

Searching people for hidden alcohol on the way in. You're already not allowed to bring outside drink into a nightclub anyway.

Could even breathalyser people on the way in to check they are not drinking first. But that might be taking it too far.

That's the model they use in Amsterdam. You can sell spirits or you can sell weed and hashish, but never both. You can consume either on site. The hash bars sell different fresh juices for cotton mouth. It works extremely well. It's been a while since I've been there, but I assume nothings changed...

If the drug comes from the pharmacy not the streets than you need not worry about ALOT of what I mentioned. One ID, one dose per night. Doesn't stop the non user friends from picking up extras but thats a tough one to solve........ if you cheat the system liability would land on you. (In my mind at least).

You absolutely could breathalize people. This is your idea if you plan to pursue it than do it as correctly as possible. (you got some legal issues in the way as im sure you are aware)

You've got this scenario nailed down...except for the music. What's playing in the background. When people start getting off the mood could hit manic in no time. Could you control them with a beat?

You d probably be allowed 2 or 3 pills but just saying you wouldn't be allowed to say Gimme 10 please. Hand stamping with the time is probably a good idea. With no alcohol sold it would be good.

The club could also give you a ticket on entry which you redeem at the bar for your pill when ready. Mdma is not like alcohol where your buying beer all night.

Lots of ways it could be done.
 
I like that you are solution orientated. We don't see that alot here. Unfortunately you would probably have to accept the fact people are going to backdoor your handstamps/policies; but if everything is legit than the second they break policy you are released of liability. Id keep it to one good pill. Assuming mdma still. (I know you don't want anyone to be hurt regardless of whether it lands on you, still best it doesnt WHEN it happens)

Mdma is not like alcohol which brings us to another snag.... There would be no regulars. MDMA becomes not much more than speed if used too often. Just don't go to the E-Bar more than you should I suppose; problem solved.

I like the thought and there are ways it could be done.
 
The hand stamping can be done with an electron pen. I actually prefer voucher or token system you get given as you go in which could be included in your entry fee. Your membership would be noted on an electronic card bit like casinos do. They also do photo id when you arrive.

The book I mentioned talks about it.

Alcohol is a drug and is regulated in a license premise...no reason why mdma couldn't go down that route in the building.
 
I agree. I also put forward the premise that if people want to cheat your one pill system; they will. The same way they circumvent alcohol as a regulated drug in a licensed premise. I am on your side hear and I say the hand stamp is good enough, if people are looking to break the rules, break the rules ish will happen. Just make sure that THEIR choice to screw over your system doesn't land on you.

I'm afraid I've no say in this lol..it's just what I read in a book . A thought experiment of how it would work. Consume on the premises is the key thing. In that case the substance can be delivered legally.
 
It makes sense at a glance, but there are individuals such as myself who behave inversely to the norm with the different ROA's. I can smoke or shoot coke all night and be relatively okay, if a little pukey or reclusive - or not, maybe just a little (lot) horny, particularly with crack - but give me some powder up the schnozz and I lose my shit, get all ranty, start waving knives around and developing delusions of grandeur...
 
^ I go reclusive even with the snozz which doesnt go great with a racing heart so it just isnt my thing. But I would find it very tough to buy you could sell coke just for snorting without "there is a will there is a way" kicking in one way or another.

Sorry to change this thread to mdma instead of coke. Suppose the idea might still work with snorting coke.

Weird, I'm the other way around. I'm cool snorting coke, even smoking it. But gimme a rig and I go batshit crazy. Well everybody is different lols.
