And the gimpy arm that the surgery caused.. Can't wait til I heal and stop having my 'raver right arm' :|

Don't view if you're easily squeamish to gimps heh http://i82.photobucket.com/albums/j250/undii/injury/IMG_3685.jpg

It's even worse now but we kinda don't want to take a pic of it at present, it makes baby jesus cry looking at it.

not an injury but a condition i believe, hemmoroids for the last 2 weeks, used the cream will come on and off again every couple days can prolly be attributed to the fact that i spend 4-5 a day behind the wheel of my car, also poor diet can certinally be added.

now ask yourself, do you want to see a pic of my asshole?

^seems hemmoriods are going around :D

wazza the last one doesn't look that bad!

when i broke my arm/dislocated my elbow when i was 12 i lost movement in the elbow joint and had to walk around with my arm at a 90 degree angle for months, doing the stereotypical campy gay man arm thing (that's a medical term, yo)

Well it does (now) and compared to what it looked like pre accident. But since then I've had another 7-8 months of muscle atrophy happening in my upper arm + shoulder to make it REAL gimpy/thin/ugh looking

Not really my "latest" but it was quite significant at the time (7 stitches and a headache). Now I have this cool little lightning shaped scar (any harry potter jokes will result in a similar scar of your own)

EDIT:
Excuse the lighting is pretty shit on my phone :\

Laugh, well the stack sucked but those actual scars/bruises were from exploriatory surgery I had to see why my arm wasn't healing so the surgeon went in to check my inner arm from my neck. heh. But I do wear the scar proudly =D Also the 3-4 other BIG scars I have I also am proud of :) SMASHING my ankle apart from a "brutal truth" (band) gig years ago, stomach surgery where I was told I was hours from death if I hadn't got it fixed and stuff. To know your body, you gotta be a little rough with it from time to time ;)

Mazdan, can't drink much dude (at present). All the pain meds + alcohol mix for feelings that aren't cool (read BLLLLLIIIIIIIIINNNNNDDDDDDDD on 2-4 pints which usually was our starting drinks). I've had 3-4 drinking sessions in the 11 months since the off and each time I can't say it was fun. So I figure at least I'm saving BIG $$ from not going to pub sessions like I used to 2-5 nights a week depending on weather heh. Thinking I might try to drink slllllllllooooooowwww when we go to the pub next and hope drinking sllllllllllloooooowwww equals drinking normally for someone not on the plethora of pain meds I'm on atm. heh. But yeah ONCE I DO HEAL + get off pain meds, I will be using the drinking routine for arm strengthening =D

It's always fun tho when at the pub or somewhere else when the scars come out and everyone shows their own. Had some dude stop me on NYE at a toilet/wash sink and ask how I got my arm to be in such a big sling. I told him and he told me about the shark bite he had (mad surfer) and 30-40 skin grafts later it's still healing which he showed me. Now that was something crazy to see, half his stomach/obliques were kinda missing due to said shark bite and he showed me all the scars/healing bits.

Timely thread.
After seeing Wazza's battle marks I'm almost embarrassed to post about this, but I broke my leg on the weekend. Not too bad - fractured my left fibula (skiing) when I stacked down a double-black run. Fucking bindings didn't pop when they shoulda, which given the level of knowledge of the bitch that ran the hire store (retard), did not come as a surprise..

you had better still go dancing for me even with a broken leg young man!!!
;)
hope you are doing ok and that you are coping with the trains and stuff if you have got to that stage as yet. if not now is the time to make friends with a taxi driver!! big hugs and well wishes to you and enjoy the pain meds!
:)

anyways all the best mate and hope the next 6-8 weeks goes fast for ya.

Better post a pic with all the writing on the cast when you can.......lol

oooh nasty potato!

Mine's even less impressive, I just badly bruised my knee stumbling over drunkedly at a wine festival on the weekend. Damn high heeled cork shoes.

My arm is playing up again. It's because I had a trapped nerve in my neck a year or so ago which caused my right arm to hurt and every so often it comes back.

I would love a nice massage just now.

During Sunday nights' Stilnox stupor I walked into about every piece of furniture in my house atleast once. My fridge copped it the worst. As did my left foot.

Stilnox and I were such good friends until Sunday night :(

I got one helluva bruise/hurty on to the right of my lower back.

I got lots of injuries on my little holiday to Phillip Island :(

Was enjoying a nice sleep in, when my moron mate waltzes in to wake me up. Instead of the usual "good morning", the fuckwit grabbed my stash which was on the bedside table and skidaddled, laughing his head off. I bolted after him down the hall (in my rather skimpy pj's) but he was hiding in the bathroom and jumped out as I ran past and yelled "BOOOOOOOOO!!!!". I shat myself, spun round, lost my balance and went careening backwards straight into the corner of the kitchen bench. It hurt. I mean it really fucking HUURRRT!!!

I was lying on the floor, screaming blue murder and cursing to high heaven while everyone stood around laughing. That hurt even more. Then another friend took pity on me and pushed my mate backwards into the cupboard, locked it, and sat in front of it so he couldn't escape. He nearly suffocated he was in there so long, so i felt a bit better.

I feel for you, I know exactly how that feels.. Daily. One good thing from it, when I do get a massage on my bad shoulder area, it is DIVINE. Definitely better than plur massages when munted up. So something to smile about it as I need it. Going to my first assessment for pain management tomorrow. It's gotten to me finally that I _need_ to see yet another specialist but at least this time it's someone who deals with pain. *fingers crossed* they give me some relief

This one is pretty embarrassing.

So I'm deep, deep in REM sleep, happily dreaming away this morning... it's about 4.30am.

I start waking up because I can feel something on the back of my head (I think I'm on my side or stomach). Something is... Crawling On The Back Of My Head... near my neck, wandering around. It feels kind of big and I start worrying that it's going to go for my ear.

By now I'm awake but in total muscular paralysis... I can't move. The thing is still crawling... I spend another couple of minutes waiting for my body to regain control and wake up.

Finally it does and in a fit of panic I tried to do about three things at once; spin around and get up, run to the light to turn it on and brush whatever this thing is off my neck. I fail to do any of these and only proceed in falling straight down, out of bed and onto hard timber floors. =D

So there I am... on the floor, in the dark, flapping helplessly at the back of my head for an insect that is no longer there... but the time I can get up and turn the light on there's nothing to be seen. Looked everywhere; no insect. Then lost a couple of hours sleep, too freaked and in pain to fall asleep again... woke up with a grazed knee, very sore calf and sprained wrist.
