☠ WARNING ☠ Warning: Mislabeled Batch of 2C-B-Fly That Has Caused Deaths

how to safely measure .25 mg?

ok so a few people have pointed out that from now on we should all test our RC's at sub MG levels first.

can anyone explain HOW to do this? (someone mentioned diluting it in liquid)

this kind of info would be a really good sticky in itself

thanks

bromo-dragonfly is active at 250mcg... 1-2mg is a very high dose. So if there is a concern a substance may be DOB-dragonfly, which this thread shows us there should be, it would be prudent to test at levels as low as .25mg.

Cricketbee: The Liquid Measurement Thread <-- This is the only reliable way without a seriously powerful and expensive analytical scale. And it still requires a sensitive milligram scale to measure out an initial quantity, as you can't trust a vendor to send exactly the right amount. They often give you more than intended, sometimes by a lot.

1mg from this batch is a strong but reasonable dose with this batch. So a 1mg test even in this case is ok.

but still a measured dose of 1 mg could easily actually be 2 with the mg scales most of us are probably using.. why not measure out 1 mg and dissolve it in a little water to take a smaller dose to be safe? it's not like it's a lot of work

And yes, with this batch. But extending this to a general case, there are substances existing where 1mg would be too much. And in the future, there certainly could be more. And isn't the most potent isomer of DOB-dragonfly active at only slightly larger doses than LSD? Maybe 1mg wouldn't be lethal but it would hardly be pleasant, and could be dangerous. And imagine someone expecting something like 2C-B, or 2C-B-fly. If they even took 1mg of this batch, which supposedly is a strong dose, that could be terrible, a strong, day-long experience they didn't expect or want.

I will admit to not always following this advice... hell, not even usually. But a little extra caution never hurt anyone. However, in the tiny percentage chance that you have accidentally obtained a chemical that is dangerous to ingest at 1mg, wouldn't it be best to test at a smaller dose?

Just trying to spread safety. :)

^ Yes, you would. Because miscalculations can result in loss of one's extremities and/or death. Unfortunately, this substance is not as physiologically-forgiving as LSD...

Even then, one would think to measure LSD with something better then a thumb. :)

^ If one were to believe that crap. LSD at extremely high doses ("thumbprints" lol) can cause physiological damage, despite Shroomery adherents' beliefs to the contrary... :)

Somehow I have a feeling you would go through the extra effort for BDFLY. :)

Indeed. :) Though really, the point is to exert extreme caution whenever receiving any substance from a vendor, particularly if they offer potent ones like these or the other psychedelic amphetamines. Because really, unless you have access to a lab and extensive knowledge of chemistry, you have no way of knowing what you really just got.

Yeah man that shroomery crap posted by chinacat is straight-up fantasy.

BUMP

Swim has just received 2c-b. Swim will test it at the 1 mg level and then at 10 mg, even though vendor has excellent reputation.

BETTER SAFE THAN DEAD - or in the hospital!
